As I observed, most of the posts I see today was posting of insensitive videos and pictures that is not eligible to be posted in the internet.

For sure, the people whose posting malicious photos or anything that is insensitive activity that is opposite to the good will be accused of the RA 10175: Cyber-crime Law that is implemented by the senate to save our social media world.

My own experience, I was victimized by an Identity thieves. It happened to me because I didn't use my mind that I was just in the social media talking to the people I don't know. It is also a lesson to me that I shouldn't talk or trust people I don't know because they will take advantage from you. Good for me I didn't trust them yet I was still victimized by that activity.

(Sec. 2-D, RA 10627) This covers social bullying aiming to belittle another individual or group or gender-based bullying that humiliates another on the basis of perceived or actual sexual orientation and gender identity. The thing I've understand is the "SEXTING" as I know sexting a very serious thing commonly happened to our society nowadays. Especially to the teenager of this generation.The act of sexting has many negative consequences. The number of teenagers whom participate in sexting is rapidly increasing. Sexting has become a widespread phenomenon that has destroyed lives and has caused emotional distress to many teenagers and young adults.
The thing I've not so familiar is the "AVATAR" I don't know what is it all about I know it is bad but I don't what know kind of problem is this.

The internet is definitely not secure, no more secure than walking down a street in the middle of the day in a very large city. In such a scenario you are routinely filmed without your knowledge by CCTV, cell phone cameras, regular everyday digital cameras and even the occasional TV camera. The internet is the same way only instead of video, your every keystroke is recorded, every photo you upload is archived. Problems usually start to arise when people share their personal information with the wrong people, just as in the real world. It is vital to look after this type of information properly.

It has revolutionized communications, to the extent that it is now our preferred medium of everyday communication. In almost everything we do, we use the internet. Like sharing a moment with a friend, sending a picture over instant messaging. Before the internet, if you wanted to keep up with the news, you can inquire anytime you want as long as you have the internet access and recall what had happened the previous day. In its early days, the internet itself has been transformed which from a historical perspective are still relatively recent.

1.The specific issues as ive seen in the poster is that the gambling,bullies,avatar and etc. It shows the possible effects using media or internet in unguarded way.
ReplyDelete2.The first issues that is common for me is the bully,which is the common thing happens to me everyday im used to encounter it in my everyday life. And the one that is not common to me is the avatar.
3. The possible thing that might happen in using cellphones in unguarded way is that you can do such things that is not good for you to do.
4. The issues happens to me in reality is bully,eventhough some bullies are in a way of jokes but the deepest part of my heart kills me most. What i do is that i let God knows my heartaches for he says that he is closer for those broken hearted person. God is my ultimate weapon to fight such things.

I see how minors or what we gamers called the "noobs of the internet" affected by the free access of anysites by the internet, these are the access to many risk of privacy for users. Therefore, using internet for the noobs should not be alone due to their misconceptions and lack of knowledge about the internet and how it runs. These crimes are accessible and harmful physically and mentally if these are accessed since it is no safe for users.
All of the images in these foster as I looked, are clear for me for I had encountered all of these are recognizes how the deep web runs for a certain person/client for any illegal transactions. One of the most famous is pornography and hacking, Pornography had access for free sex sites, extreme nudity and filthy practices using the human body (e.g. Lesbian porn, Gay porn, Cartoon porn, etc...) These are the most accessible sites know by people that show how it earns money through people who accesses their sites through ads. Also, very harmful for minors, for these practices are adult related which doesn't suit or never suits for their intellectual capacities that they might do unpleasant immoral things among themselves and other minors which replicates their instinct of having immoral manners and foul words learned. Another was hacking where it is very risky in terms of virus triggering and privacy insecurity.
The dangers are catalyst in a minor's perceptions about the internet, First they thought it was all games and everything good as of they expected it as a video game, but since new and better video games are accessed by the internet, children prefer to go to the internet than buy themselves a gameboy (offline games). The only risk is the free access to unsecured sites we know that is harmful for their mental and physical health as well. The possible dangers are: (1) Mental tardiness (2) Immorality (3) Addiction (4) Retardation (5) Mental Disfunctions and (6) Suicide.
These issues happened for me for many times, such as pornographic sites/games and hacking for games where it triggers high risk of computer viruses. Since I am aware of these, as an Computer Literature student, I prefer not use the internet as leisure for minors.

The common issue that I've noticed is bully which also one of the most rampant issues which leads also to death,to those victim persons. And the one that is not common to me is avatar.

-There are advantages and disadvantages of internet, I can say somehow it is good but some people used it in wrong doings such as; prostitution, human trafficking, cyber bullying, exploitation, cyber sex, and etc. All crime has consequences and it should be punished BT the RA 10175.

1. In the past many of the things that you want to know is unexplained or sometimes it lacks on the exact information that you need. Most of the past generation relies on books and their self-knowledge in understanding a scenario. But as modernization enters the picture it change our life big time. Most unanswered questions received its answers and the gaps for knowledge slowly got cemented because of the modern technology that is introduced in the market. Internet plays a vital role in cementing the gap of information in our generation. Today if one have questions in their mind by a simple click and a 4g signal the unanswered question can easily be answered. Internet is important especially it bridges communication, create relationship, develop friendship and also it is a big help for students in finishing their school works. But despite of its positive side it also contain dangers that if the human abuse the power of technology they will receive consequences. Most of the dangers in the internet is that it can cause isolation of people over its peers and family because of being addict to the net. One must always be aware of his/her doing and always keep in mind to balance the usage of net and keeping up with school works
ReplyDelete2. Thepossible dangers that the internet can offer to you is for example cyber bullying. Victims of cyber bullying can experience lifetime trauma and an unhealthy mentality. Because the internet covers a wide range of area it is really not that impossible to develop trust issues that can lead to misunderstanding and even a broken relationship.
3.A. The poster shows the dirty transaction that happens through internet. People must always be aware on the dangers of using internet because some people took advantage and harassed while using internet. Children are vulnerable to the dangers of the internet and can face threats like cyberbullying, online predators, inappropriate content etc.
B. As a student and an individual in this generation, internet becomes part of my daily living,
I spend time on internet and I am aware of the risks that the internet might brought, so I'm trying my best to be careful in every activity I'll do on internet because I might be someone's victim without me knowing.
C. The poster shows the possible dangers, crimes and illegal activities that might happen while using the internet. Children and adolescent are the target and victim of the cybercrimes. Unguarded usage can lead into some serious issues like mental and emotional health problems. Each must be guided on how to avoid those illegal activities and avoid being a victim.
D. I have encounter some 'identity thieves'. There are that unknown individual who made facebook account using other person name and picture to post malicious text. That unknown individual is using other person identity to destroy his reputation and connection with people.
