Internet marketing in the tourism industry can help you connect with your clients, show them the visual appeal of your destination, and possibly get more exposure than you would with traditional print advertising. Use both natural and paid search to promote your destination, and you are sure to see results.

Citizen journalism refers to the reporting of news events by members of the public using the Internet to spread the information. Citizen journalism can be a simple reporting of facts and news that is largely ignored by large media companies. It is easily spread through personal websites, blogs, microblogs, social media and so on. Some types of citizen journalism also act as a check on the reporting of larger news outlets by providing alternative analysis.

Mostly of the people nowadays are looking for new destinations where they an sit back and relax and of course to rewind their minds from a crowded palce. I think internet marketing in the tourism industry can help the people to look anopother places where we can recommend good services and good ambiance of setting.
Mostly of the people nowadays is opportunity seekers, not just in the schools and work opportunities but also good services of new surroundings is an example of opportunity to chill in.
Nowadays, we have this so called the "travel bloggers" they are one good example of internet marketing industry of tourism because most of them are the one who finds good spot to go to and this activity can help people of a certain community to have good rate of tourist choice. Honestly, we really have this kind of people who seeks places to recommend new places to the viewers of their pages. Also, this can help our community to be known by others.
By promoting our destinationw, we have to pay taxes but our money is full the worth and there you can proceed and succeed your destination blogs by the help of your tourism marketing your community will also have good rate in terms of tourism views.

  2. Human trafficking is one of the most rampant in our society today. Human trafficking involves sexual exploitation, child abuse, cyberbullying and etc. From this given examples alot of people experience it in the whole nation or worldwide. There are organizations which is responsible to protect those persons who suffers from human trafficking. Apparently, human trafficking is one of our problem today it's because from these alot of people are willing to kill just to make a revenge for the person who make things that is unpleasantly. And as a matter of fact there children's also suffer from these circumstances which lead to crime, according to, SECTION 1. Short Title. — This Act shall be known as the “Human Rights Victims Reparation and Recognition Act of 2013”.

SEC. 2. Declaration of Policy. — Section 11 of Article II of the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines declares that the State values the dignity of every human, person and guarantees full respect for human rights. Pursuant to this declared policy, Section 12 of Article III of the Constitution prohibits the use of torture, force, violence, threat, intimidation, or any other means which vitiate the free will and mandates the compensation and rehabilitation of victims of torture or similar practices and their families. From these statements although we have something to lean on,but many Filipinos are hard headed, they do such thing which is bad for their co-filipinos,others may say that they do such things to have a money for their love ones or family. Some circumstances also affects our daily needs. Accordingly there are people who are greedy when it comes to our daily needs. They do things to make them more powerful, more money to receive, and etc. But in the eyes of God they are that is not good to do so. And they are willing to risk there lives just to make them more popular and powerful. But nowadays is that we have a very versatile president which Rodrigo Roa Duterte who always did his best just to have a wonderful, prosperous nation we can have. According to him that he will do his best to protect those persons who is victim by human trafficking specifically those children who has been abandoned by their parents, really human trafficking is not easy to resolve but with the help of our most kind and lovable president is that nothing is been one of the victims, and most importantly with the help of our almighty God,nothing is impossible. With the organizations we have we are very special to have them as our protetors it's because they do they very most strength to help those people who is been of the victims of human trafficking.

  3. Human trafficking -based on the exploitation of individuals, all victims of trafficking may be subject to physical, psychological, and social impacts. Victims of trafficking often experience harsh physical impacts due to excessive work or the use of force by traffickers. In addition, victims may be exposed to serious health risks, such as HIV/AIDS, as well as serious mental health risks. Anxiety, insecurity, fear, and trauma are all products of trafficking. Several studies indicate high levels of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in formerly trafficked persons. Trafficking can also lead to cognitive impairment, memory loss, depression, and even suicide.
Trafficked minors are all the more vulnerable due to their age. Trafficking may greatly impact children’s emotional, physical, and overall psychological development.

Trafficked persons may also experience social ostracism. Trafficked persons are often isolated from their social circles, leaving individuals unable to engage socially or reach out for help. Victims may also be trafficked internationally, and therefore may not be able to engage due to a lack of linguistic capability or geographic and cultural familiarity. Individuals specifically trafficked for sex have described facing stigma and other negative responses during and after their trafficking experience, especially from friends and family members.

  6. The development of information and communication technologies, especially the Internet, has led to the emergence of citizen journalism, which means the active role of citizens in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing and disseminating news and information. All citizens create and distribute them with the help of mobile phones, the Internet, i-pod, computer, etc. Thanks to the digital technology, citizen journalism is universally accessible and globally relevant, it becomes an important part of the content within the traditional media – both public and commercial. It has become an important corrections of official sources of information, it helped to create a real and objective view of the world. When we look at the mass media, they are now mostly privately owned, and their main guide is profit. On the one hand, the media are financed by advertising, and something what usually happens is that advertisers and other factors largely influence the editorial policy. The development of technology has in many ways changed the mass media. This is primarily related to the emergence and development of the Internet, who first made that the popularity of other media declines, and then encourage the media to change and adapt their content. So today most newspaper companies have web sites, where you are able to read some of the free content from the print edition, or they have portal news. The development of the Internet has allowed newspapers to expand their ways to present content so that now they can in one place publish text, photos, videos, and immediately receive feedback from readers and the like.

In contemporary society, the role of the media in many ways are changing. Although citizen journalism in some cases is dismissed as unnecessary and too amateur, big media companies had no choice but to support it.

Civil journalism can be a volunteer, but also people can earn money. Citizenside web site is good for both. Citizenside allows you to earn money for the photos and video clips, which you normally only published on your profiles of social networks.
Citizen side will pay up to 65 percent of the selling price of your photo or video, if it shows the media interest worldwide. Payment will be made to service your PayPal account for up to 60 days after the sale

  7. Human trafficking is modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.

Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked in countries around the world, including the United States. It is estimated that human trafficking generates many billions of dollars of profit per year, second only to drug trafficking as the most profitable form of transnational crime.

Human trafficking is a hidden crime as victims rarely come forward to seek help because of language barriers, fear of the traffickers, and/or fear of law enforcement.

Traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to lure their victims and force them into labor or commercial sexual exploitation. They look for people who are susceptible for a variety of reasons, including psychological or emotional vulnerability, economic hardship, lack of a social safety net, natural disasters, or political instability. The trauma caused by the traffickers can be so great that many may not identify themselves as victims or ask for help, even in highly public settings.

Many myths and misconceptions exist. Recognizing key indicators of human trafficking is the first step in identifying victims and can help save a life. Not all indicators listed are present in every human trafficking situation, and the presence or absence of any of the indicators is not necessarily proof of human trafficking.

The safety of the public as well as the victim is paramount. Do not attempt to confront a suspected trafficker directly or alert a victim to any suspicions. It is up to law enforcement to investigate suspected cases of human trafficking
he 3 most common types of human trafficking are sex trafficking, forced labor, and debt bondage. Forced labor, also known as involuntary servitude, is the biggest sector of trafficking in the world, according to the U.S. Department of State. Debt bondage is another form of human trafficking in which an individual is forced to work in order to pay a debt.

Sex trafficking disproportionately affects women and children and involves forced participation in commercial sex acts. In the United States, any child under the age of 18 who has been involved in a commercial sex act is considered a trafficking victim. Women and girls make up 80% of the people trafficked transnationally. Yearly, traffickers exploit 1 million children in the commercial sex trade.

Perceptions of human trafficking often involve women forced into prostitution. This is just one aspect of human trafficking. Survivors of trafficking also include men and children, and these survivors are exploited by any number of means.

  8. HUMAN TRAFFICKING when we talk about this the question that comes in our mind is:
    1. What is human trafficking is?
    2. Is there a way to prevent this kind of violation?
As a student we already know this one, but as a student our knowledge about HUMAN TRAFFICKING is not yet enough, and we need to know this more.

What human trafficking is? is this a crime or not?
Human trafficking cases like this one occur in every corner of the world.
Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights. Every year, thousands of men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad. Almost every country in the world is affected by trafficking, whether as a country of origin, transit or destination for victims. UNODC, as guardian of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) and the Protocols thereto, assists States in their efforts to implement the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons (Trafficking in Persons Protocol).
The definition contained in article 3 of the Trafficking in Persons Protocol is meant to provide consistency and consensus around the world on the phenomenon of trafficking in persons. Article 5 therefore requires that the conduct set out in article 3 be criminalized in domestic legislation. Domestic legislation does not need to follow the language of the Trafficking in Persons Protocol precisely, but should be adapted in accordance with domestic legal systems to give effect to the concepts contained in the Protocol.

As a students the question that comes up in my mind is HOW WE CAN PREVENT THIS VIOLATION? especially in a school situation
Students: Take action on your campus. Join or establish a university club to raise awareness about human trafficking and initiate action throughout your local community. Consider doing one of your research papers on a topic concerning human trafficking. Request that human trafficking be included in university curricula.

Each of us we have our right. Each of us have a right to stand our side especially if we are a victim. I just want to live a articles that stated about human rights.

The Human Rights Act 1998 and the fundamental rights and freedoms that everyone in the UK is entitled to.

    Article 2: Right to life

As time goes by,internet is usable when it comes to socializing people in terms of businesses. What really media is?Media help to construct our perception of the world in which we live. But what happens when media also represents the distort of a whole groups of people,we explored more issues of diversity representation and showcase efforts to counter stereotyping and promote more portrayals. At this point we explored the ethics ,laws, and rights that surround to us,whether downloading some musics, videos, borrowing some photos or , copying the text from sources ,there are many questions about what happened to as nowadays about what is not fair use.AS we all know young people are very rampant in this problem who have influenced on this topic, it covers various issues related to that targets children and youth. 13. Crimes, abuses, sexual harassment and drugs are some of the most dangerous and lethal issues that our country has been facing of.Human trafficking a word that every time i hear always had a bomb inside my chest .This a serious issue that should not be ignored of.
Human trafficking is a serious problem that should not be taken for granted. It could be affect the life of an individual especially those children who are involved in this kind of goosebumps-feel situation.
Human trafficking cannot ease ones life from poverty but it could be bring them n their down fall and most probably, they could spend their life in living in this world in jail. Could also affect the life of their families.
Nonetheless, a costumer could also change their life in just a blink of an eye.Internet and social media has big impact in our world, it could be advantageous or disadvantageous. In its good side, social media could be a great help in communicating some relatives that are far from their home and cold also help to socialize with others. But impart of having a good effect, their is way more bigger on its most negative side. It could also use for bullying threats and human trafficking. In this thought, we could be vigilant in assessing which and which are not the things that should be done. An ethical in using social media. Nevertheless, if social media could be use in malicious activity, it could also be a great helper in eliminating or prevent those malicious things.
Survivors of human trafficking are forced, tricked or misled into modern- day slavery. If they are able to escape a shrouded abduction and hidden enslavement, they have specific needs that are unique to their situation. Survivors may have experienced profound trauma, lack linguistic skills in the country of their escape, and struggle with basic functioning after trafficking. The United Nations, the united states of government, the sates of California, and the city of San Francisco are all committed to meeting the unique needs of human trafficking survivors, with the aim of ending this particularly heinous crime once and for all.

Victims of human trafficking can be anyone, though those who are particularly vulnerable to trafficking include children, runaways, victims of domestic violence, individuals with histories of abuse, and foreign nationals. There are many barriers to someone identifying as a victim of human trafficking often due to fear , shame and some instances danger.

Trafficked persons may also experience social ostracism. Trafficked persons are often isolated from their social circles, leaving individuals an able to engaged socially or reach out for health. Victims may also be trafficked internationally, and therefore may not be able to engage due to a lack of linguistic capability or geographic and cultural familiarity. Individuals specifically trafficked or for sex have describe facing stigma and other negative responses during and after their trafficking experience, specially from friends and family member.

"The strongest thing we have isn't our fists, it's our words. It's what we do. So, FIGHT" Alex, childhood victim of sex trafficking. This quote really captures my heart and mind, it says that we should be brave enough to face and to give justice to those victims of human trafficking. Bloody revenge are not good but leaving it to the law of people and law of God are more than better.

Use the social media not to gain popularity and ignore such bad things that happen in our society but used it as an instrument to capture,, eliminate, prevent and stop human trafficking.
Say No to human trafficking, Say Yes to Justice and Rights.

  14. As an individual "Phishing" is one of the top cyber-crimes that impact consumers and businesses all around the world. It is the most common scams on the Internet. Phishing is known as the process in which someone attempts to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, social security number or financial information and personal information such as birthdates, name and addresses by masking themselves as a trustworthy or familiar entity. With social networking on the rise, people are sharing their personal information everywhere, and have no idea if a website is truly what it seems to be. Phishing scam is an important topic because it is no longer something that can only be done by hackers, but by anyone with internet access. A successful phishing attack can have disastrous consequences for the victims leading to financial losses and identity theft. I
The problem about the act of tricking individuals into divulging their sensitive information and using it for malicious purposes is not new. Before widespread use of the internet, criminals used the telephone to pose as a trusted agent to acquire information. However, today the term has evolved to encompass a variety of attacks that target personal information. The impact of phishing is far more insidious than just an invasion of privacy. Phishing is used to compromise computer security through social engineering. It can be used to steal information, disrupt computer operations, steal money, ruin reputations, destroy important information or feed the ego of an attacker.
So when it comes to the people and society, phishing scams are really damaging the internet. With the fast growing phishing technology and rising social networking, people are getting more risks when they are sharing the personal information online. So as individual we must do the things that can help us to prevent this oind of issue in our society.
DON’T click on any links in emails claiming to be from your bank or any other trusted organisation. Especially if it asks you to verify or update your personal details. Delete these immediately.
DO an internet search of specific names and phrases in an email you are unsure about. Many scams can be identified this way as other victims post their stories on online forums.
LOOK for https: in any website where you are asked to provide personal details. SSL certificates are used to encrypt the transmitted information to secure identities and financial information over the web. If you don’t see HTTPS in your browser search bar, close it and manually search for the secure address. Always pay very close attention to what is written in the browser search bar. Check for inconsistencies such as symbols that shouldn’t be there and scrambled URLs.
NEVER provide personal information in an unsolicited phone call. Even if you believe the person calling you is legitimately from your bank, call your bank directly on the number listed on their website to be sure. They will confirm if you were contacted and why. Never return a call on a phone number given to you by the caller directly.
ALWAYS report a scam to the Anti-Phishing Work Group to ensure that others who are affected by the same scam can find out about it online.
As you can see Phishing is very serious problem here in the Philippines, we must be aware of the things we do, we post or we click using gadgets.Even though some information can help us but we must be take good care and be observant. As a student and as part of this generation I know using media is very helpful but it also had a bad effect if we use it in bad ways. Control ourselves of using it.

  16. As we know "Human trafficking" is very serious problem. Practically, it happens all over the world.Human trafficking violates basic human rights including the right to life, liberty and security; the right to be free from slavery and servitude; freedom from torture or cruel or degrading treatment; and the right to work in just and favourable conditions.Human trafficking also violates the right to human dignity; to physical and psychological integrity; the right not to be sold into marriage; the right to a family and intimacy; and the right not to be discriminated against on account of being female. But as an individual we must an action for this kind of issue.Yet, trafficking continues to thrive. Human Trafficking is a complex issue that attracts vigorous debate from a range of different groups as to its definition, causes and solutions. This brings home the immeasurable responsibility that lays with policymakers at international to national level, respective ministries, and media organisations to the level of communities to the total commitment of all concerned to anti-trafficking efforts. The objective of this paper is to examine the role of the media in raising awareness and the possible action to solved this kind of problem. Media and information can be used for the purpose of actions done by governments and non-government organizations have greatly reduced trafficking and have protected those most susceptible.

  18. We all know that human trafficking is condemned as a violation of human rights by international conventions. In addition, human trafficking is subject to a directive in the European Union.According to a report by the U.S. State Department, Belarus, Iran, Russia, and Turkmenistan remain among the worst countries when it comes to providing protection against human trafficking and forced labor.

Human trafficking differs from people smuggling, which involves a person voluntarily requesting or hiring another individual to covertly transport them across an international border, usually because the smuggled person would be denied entry into a country by legal channels. Though illegal, there may be no deception or coercion involved. After entry into the country and arrival at their ultimate destination, the smuggled person is usually free to find their own way. According to the International Center for Migration Policy Development , people smuggling is a violation of national immigration laws of the destination country, and does not require violations of the rights of the smuggled person. Human trafficking, on the other hand, is a crime against a person because of the violation of the victim's rights through coercion and exploitation.Human trafficking experience physical violence from law enforcement during raids. The challenges facing victims often continue of course, after their experience of "rescue" or removal from coercive sexual exploitation. In addition to coping with their past traumatic experiences, former trafficking victims often experience social alienation in the host and home countries.human trafficking and "provides stringent punishment for human trafficking; trafficking of children for exploitation in any form including physical exploitation; or any form of sexual exploitation, slavery, servitude or the forced removal of organs and to promoting policies aimed at rooting out corruption and organised crime.

  19. CITIZEN JOURNALISM In such a situation the interests of the common man have no place. Be that as it may, issues at the grass roots do not get the requisite attention from the mainstream media. At this juncture independent freelance journalists and RTI activists come to play an important role to bridge the yawning gap.

Citizen journalism now finds a small and insignificant slot among television channels, wherein citizens are given an opportunity to focus on local issues, problems and grievances confronting the local populace. But it is not an alternative to traditional journalism, whose advocates ridicule citizen journalism as lacking in quality and professional reporting.

Whatever may be the case, citizen journalism has given an opportunity to the common man. Those living in poor sections of society – in far-flung isolated tribal areas and regions with low rates of literacy – can use smart phones and computers to gain access and connectivity to powers that be about issues that would not have captured the attention of mainstream media.

Local issues like the shutting down of schools, depriving children of education and nutrition, have been highlighted through citizen journalism. The issues of inadequate socio-economic development, neglect by the government, and economic exploitation have all garnered attention through this medium of journalism. The anti-corruption movement of Anna Hazare and the black money issue raised by Baba Ramdev are all telling reminders of the power of citizen journalism.

The casual attitude of taking things easy has been given a go-by, and youth today needs a revolutionary change. Social problems, severe poverty, malnutrition, women subject to domestic violence and rape, harassment of the girl child and other manifold issues have been compellingly projected and raised through citizen journalism, which is attaining recognition as a powerful force in the nation today.Citizen journalism’s recent popularity has been sparked by new technology media
that has led to increased accessibility to information for the general public. Unlike
traditional journalism, citizen journalism is not necessarily performed by individuals with
educational or professional training in the field; rather it is often done by “citizens” who
have no connection to traditional or new media. Because of this disassociation from the
institutional media, citizen journalism appeals to many because of a common belief that
traditional media are biased, out of touch, ignore important issues or offer irrelevant
news. Consumers of citizen journalism often see it as less inherently biased and more in
    touch with important, timely issues.
But while citizen journalism appears to be a shining example of America’s
entrepreneurial spirit and fosters freedom of speech, it does pose some potential
problems. Anyone can be a citizen journalist, and the Internet offers unlimited
opportunities for anyone to upload content (such as blogs, videos, etc.) for public
consumption. Because of the ease in creating and distributing content on the Web, it is
impossible to ensure that all of it is true and or genuine. Therefore, ethical standards and
credibility of citizen journalism can come into question.
As evidenced by more and more traditional news outlets downsizing or ceasing
publication, people now look for alternative sources for news. Social media such as
Facebook and Twitter allow the news to find people instead of people finding the news.

  20. PHISHING is one of the easiest forms of cyber attack for a criminal to carry out, but one which can provide these crooks with everything they need to infiltrate every aspect of their targets' personal and working lives.
Usually carried out over email - although the scam has now spread to social media, messaging services and apps - a basic phishing attack attempts to trick the target into doing what the scammer wants. That might be handing over passwords to make it easier to hack a company, or altering bank details so that payments go to fraudsters instead of the correct account.
The aim and the precise mechanics of the scams vary: victims might be tricked into a clicking a link through to a fake webpage with the aim of persuading them user to enter personal information - it's estimated that an average of 1.4 million of these websites are created every month.
Other campaigns involve tricking users into downloading and installing malware - for stealthy approach to theft - or inadvertently installing ransomware, providing the attacker with much more immediate profit.
More complex phishing schemes can involve a long game, with hackers using fake social media profiles, emails and more to build up a rapport with the victim over months or even years in cases where specific individuals are targeted for specific data which they would only ever hand over to people they trusted.
That data can be as simple as an email address and password, to financial data such as credit card details or online banking credentials or even personal data such as date of birth, address and a social security number.
In the hands of hackers, all of that can be used to carry out fraud, be it identity theft or using stolen data to buy things or even selling people's private information on the dark web. In some cases, it's done for blackmail or to embarrass the victim.
In other cases, phishing is one of the tools used for espionage or by state-backed hacking groups to spy on opponents and organisations of interest.
And anyone can be a victim, ranging from the Democratic National Committee, to critical infrastructure, to commercial businesses and even individuals.Similar techniques are used in other scams in which attackers claim to be from banks looking to verify details, online shops attempting to verify non-existent purchases or sometimes -- even more cheekily -- attackers will claim to be from tech security companies and that they need access to information in order to keep their customers safe.

  21. What is phishing? How to prevent phishing?

Phishing is a devious approach that cybercrooks use to trick you into revealing personal information, such as passwords or credit card, social security, and bank account numbers. They do this by sending you fake emails or directing you to a fake website. “Phishing” refers to an attempt to steal sensitive information, typically in the form of usernames, passwords, credit card numbers, bank account information or other important data in order to utilize or sell the stolen information. By masquerading as a reputable source with an enticing request, an attacker lures in the victim in order to trick them, similarly to how a fisherman uses bait to catch a fish. Phishing attacks are one of the most common security challenges that both individuals and companies face in keeping their information secure. Whether it's getting access to passwords, credit cards, or other sensitive information, hackers are using email, social media, phone calls, and any form of communication they can to steal valuable data. Businesses, of course, are a particularly worthwhile target.
Generally, the filters assess the origin of the message, the software used to send the message, and the appearance of the message to determine if it’s spam. Occasionally, spam filters may even block emails from legitimate sources, so it isn’t always 100% accurate. The browser settings should be changed to prevent fraudulent websites from opening. Browsers keep a list of fake websites and when you try to access the website, the address is blocked or an alert message is shown. The settings of the browser should only allow reliable websites to open up.Many websites require users to enter login information while the user image is displayed. This type of system may be open to security attacks. One way to ensure security is to change passwords on a regular basis, and never use the same password for multiple accounts. It’s also a good idea for websites to use a CAPTCHA system for added security.Banks and financial organizations use monitoring systems to prevent phishing. Individuals can report phishing to industry groups where legal actions can be taken against these fraudulent websites. Organizations should provide security awareness training to employees to recognize the risks.Changes in browsing habits are required to prevent phishing. If verification is required, always contact the company personally before entering any details online. An attack can have devastating results. For individuals, this includes unauthorized purchases, the stealing of funds, or identify theft.
Moreover, phishing is often used to gain a foothold in corporate or governmental networks as a part of a larger attack, such as an advanced persistent threat (APT) event. In this latter scenario, employees are compromised in order to bypass security perimeters, distribute malware inside a closed environment, or gain privileged access to secured data. An organization succumbing to such an attack typically sustains severe financial losses in addition to declining market share, reputation, and consumer trust. Depending on scope, a phishing attempt might escalate into a security incident from which a business will have a difficult time recovering.
Please keep in mind that these are only general practices, it would be impossible to dig down into each individual type of phishing scam. A good rule of thumb is: if it makes you uncomfortable, don’t click it. If you are unsure, many websites have in-product messaging, so if there is an issue with your account, there is a good chance you can log in directly from the website and read about it there. When in doubt, contact the organization that potential phishing email appears to be from, but always get contact information by typing website’s URL into your search bar and visiting their website directly, NOT through the possible phishing message.

  22. Human trafficking involves recruitment, harbouring or transporting people into a situation of exploitation through the use of violence, deception or coercion and forced to work against their will.

In other words, trafficking is a process of enslaving people, coercing them into a situation with no way out, and exploiting them.

People can be trafficked for many different forms of exploitation such as forced prostitution, forced labour, forced begging, forced criminality, domestic servitude, forced marriage, and forced organ removal.
Contrary to a common misconception, people don’t necessarily have to be transported across borders for trafficking to take place. In fact, transporting or moving the victim doesn’t necessarily define trafficking.

When children are trafficked, no violence or coercion needs to be involved. Simply bringing them into exploitative conditions constitutes trafficking.

Trafficking for sexual exploitation gets much attention. However, the majority of people are trafficked into labour exploitation.

Many people who fall victim of trafficking want to escape poverty, improve their lives, and support their families. Often they get an offer of a well-paid job abroad or in another region. Often they borrow money from their traffickers in advance to pay for arranging the job, travel and accommodation.

When they arrive they find that the work they applied for does not exist, or the conditions are completely different. But it’s too late, their documents are often taken away and they are forced to work until their debt is paid off.
    Smuggling or trafficking?

People often confuse human trafficking and people smuggling. People smuggling is the illegal movement of people across international borders for a fee. On arrival, the smuggled person is free.

Human trafficking is different. The trafficker is moving a person for exploitation. There is no need to cross an international border. Human trafficking occurs at a national level, or even within one community.
    Human trafficking in numbers

51% of identified victims of trafficking are women, 28% children and 21% men
72% people exploited in the sex industry are women
63% of identified traffickers were men and 37% women
43% of victims are trafficked domestically within national borders

  23. Human trafficking is many girls or women dream of having a better life so they agree to come across other countries. One of the goal they have is to provide their financially. However, they never realize that their dreams could be shattered by the crime Human Trafficking.
Human Trafficking is illegal trade in human being for the purposes of slavery, commersial sexual exploitation. It also considered a forced labor or modern day form of slavery and it is also considered to be a largest crime. It is an essential part of legalized prostitution,it has become one of the most critical problems of today's society and it belong to the most vulnerable groups that are under a threat of becoming victims of human slavery. When we talk about human trafficking it is considered the third most serious crime around the world after illegal trade of drugs and weapon. In statistics proves that human trafficking helps slave proves the human trafficking helps slave owners to generate huge amounts of profit therefore this business is highly difficult to eradicate.

How are migrants misled into human trafficking? In fact most of them go abroad in the hope of living a better life with better payments for their labor.Women or young girls are especially vulnerable and can easily become victims of human trafficking or sex trafficking being forced to get involved in illegal labor and sexual exploitation. The fact that women are paid low salaries in their home countries and are eager to go abroad to earn more money. Therefore human trafficking remains an urgent problem that is to be solved at all costs. Some paid jobs and better conditions of labor.

As a result the victims easily get into a trap and become sexual or labor slaves who are threatened with violence and physical abuse to make sure they comply with the rules established by the criminals. And it can affect legalized prostitution human trafficking where prostitution has been made legal have higher rates of human trafficking due to the ease with which criminals can lure their victims into sexual exploitation. Therefore it is evident that the legalization of prostitution has resulted in much higher rates of sexual exploitation and greatest share of slaves is comprised of trafficked women and girls. Each of these countries makes attempts to combat human trafficking and legalization of prostitution is blamed by them for making this struggle especially difficult. This is due to the fact that in many countries of the world any criminal behavior requires evidence it becomes harder to detect criminal activity along with the instances of human trafficking.
The effects of human trafficking can also lead to cognitive impairment, memory loss, depression and eveb suicide.Trafficked minors are all the more vulnerable due to their age, trafficking may greatly impact children emotional, physical and overall psychological development and trafficked persons may also experienced social ostacism. And the cause of human trafficking people might argue that poverty, lack of education, immigration policy, enronmental conditions, fractured of families and a lack of good jobs opportunities are the reals cause of human trafficking.

  24. Citizen journalism refers to all forms of public reporting carried out online. This includes everything from blogs covering a local Little League tournament to the online posts of citizens in countries where the national media is government controlled. When an event is too small for larger media to take notice or the media cannot report the facts without censorship, citizen journalism may be the only source of information on what is actually occurring behind the media blackout.

Some citizen journalists have gained so much popularity for their reporting and commentary that they can reach a much wider audience than traditional news outlets.
Citizen journalism refers to the reporting of news events by members of the public using the internet to spread facts and news that is largely ignored by large media companies. Its easily spread through personal websites, microblog social media and so on.
Citizen journalism refers to any type of news gathering and reporting-writing and publishing articles about and newsworthy topics,or posting photographs or video of a newsworthy topic that is done by members of the general public rather than the professional news agencies commonly referred to as "mainstream media".

Citizen journalism involves private individuals, who are normally the consumer of journalism, generating their own news content.Citizen collect, report analyze and disseminate news and information, just as a professional journalist would creating what is known as user generated content. These journalist produce news in many forms,a podcast editorial to a report about a city council meeting on blog, and is usually digital in nature. It can also include text, pictures, audio, videos.Social media plays a major role in disseminating news and promoting citizen journalism content.Since the public has access to technology, citizens are often the first on scene of breaking news, getting these stories out more quickly done traditional media report. However unlike professional journalist, citizen journalist may not have conducted the same background research and source verification, which can make these lead less reliable

  25. Human Trafficking
Trafficking in human beings is a social problem of our time. Among the major violations of human rights in the world, today is the actual crime that has many names: “white slavery”, “human trafficking”, “trafficking in persons”. Human trafficking is a global problem that affects the lives of millions of people in almost every country of the world, and which deprives them of their human dignity. As one of the most disgusting crimes in the world, human trafficking is misleading and makes a sacrifice of women, men and children from all over the world, every day causing them to be exploited. Although the most known form of human trafficking is sexual exploitation, people are also trafficked for forced labor, as armipotence or donors for illegal transplantation of organs.

Human trafficking is a global phenomenon. It greatly affects the country in a state of political and economic transition or post-conflict stress, which basically is the country of origin for criminal proceedings universal human trafficking. This phenomenon also affects both the economically more developed countries of destination and countries of transit. People who live in difficult conditions, are attracted by opportunity to improve their life in richer and more developed countries, at the same time in the destination countries the demand for low-paid workers in irregular employment sectors, as well as legal employment sectors with low wages are increasing.

Traffickers relate to people as commodities, as things that can be exploited, something that can be traded for profit. In Europe, the majority of convicted traffickers – are male, although the proportion of women involved in this criminal activity is also quite large in comparison to their involvement in other crimes, as some criminal gangs consider women more effective weapon to lure victims, who are at the initial stage trust women more. Job recruiter or operator is also one way of enabling women victims themselves avoid that trap, that trafficking prepares them.Crime, as a rule, begins with the fact that traffickers offer their future victims attractive employment opportunities abroad. In many cases, the victim becomes aware of the false nature of these agreements only after its introduction in the country of destination, when her passport is taken, physical and mental abuse take place, employers force person to return money spent on paperwork, visas and tickets. Next, the dependence of the victim is increased by the scheme pre-fabricated debts, which account for the money spent brothel owner on illegal acquisition, accommodation, meals. Thus a person is in a planned debt bondage, which is constantly increasing. Added thereto flimsy fines and value of each resale to another owner. Traffickers use various methods to intimidate and control his victim – physical violence, imprisonment, as well as the various mechanisms of the psychological and financial control. Control methods include: debt bondage; confiscation of passports; insulation; threats of violence against the victims and their family members; victims of Finance control. Those victims of human trafficking, paying a terrible price – the physical and psychological trauma, disease, loss of relationships with family and loved ones, emotional trauma, drug addiction, AIDS.

The term “human trafficking” evolved over the centuries and transformed in light of changing eras, development and humanization of society and the revision of the existing moral canons. The phenomenon of buying and selling people can not claim to be a new phenomenon for mankind, but today it is called sometimes like that.

The problem of human trafficking has deep historical and ethno-national roots. At different stages of development of mankind attitudes towards human trafficking was quite liberal. Later, the human community realized the impossibility of existing this form of using a person that discriminated and humiliated dignity. There was a perennial struggl

  26. Journalism is constantly struggling with the confidence of his audience, and to retain (or to return) positive reputation, requires adaptation to contemporary needs and demands of media consumers. These changes are imposed on their own, because of this multi-media age, people are in many ways involved in the media world with their comments, uploading photos and video clips. They are no longer just passive observers, but have the opportunity to be active creators and critics. Why then the media would not slightly opened the door a little more and allow entry into a whole new realm?

Citizen journalism is the dissemination of information by people who are not professional journalists. Citizens reporters do not do this kind of journalism because it is their job, but because of the way they want to improve society. Citizen journalism is the basis of democracy that encourages citizens to actively participate in social processes

As the Internet has expanded the possibilities of previous media, It also allow to ordinary people to express their opinion, and that opinion comes to millions of people worldwide. An important step happened during the late nineties, when began massive popularity of blogs. Blog  is a type of website that allows users to write on a variety of topics, from intimate diaries to political commentary. Today the blog is category that most newspapers have on their own website.
Civil journalism can be a volunteer, but also people can earn money. Citizenside web site is good for both. Citizenside allows you to earn money for the photos and video clips, which you normally only published on your profiles of social networks.
Citizenside will pay up to 65 percent of the selling price of your photo or video, if it shows the media interest worldwide. Payment will be made to service your PayPal account for up to 60 days after the sale.

  27. PHISHING

Many criminals are currently focusing on retrieving private data; they do this by using deceptive techniques to carry out eletronic fraud. This is also called phishing. The cambridge Dictionaries Online defines phishing as: an attempt to trick someone into giving information over the Internet or by email that would allow some else to take money from them, for example by taking mony of their bank account.
The ubiquity of the Internet technology made phishing an easy crime to perfome. Setting up a fake website does not require a lot of mony and effort and existing technology allows phishers to make a real website with criminal costs and little time. Because most institute are continuously working on increasing their online presence the economic value that phishers can obtain by compromising accout information from online customers increased dramatically because victims help criminals in giving away their data. Besides that users generally have a lack of attention to security. The phenomenon of privacy may be unknown. Users do not see privacy and security as their primary task in general it is expected that organizations take this responsibility. This is a flase assumption. All banks indicate that phishing protection is a shared responsibility of banks and customer.
As stated above phishing is an increasing and underestimated problem. Therefore, it is important to know what phishing looks like and what one can do against phishing. This article maps out who individuals can recognize phishing.

  29. Phishing-

is the fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by disguising as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.[1][2] Typically carried out by email spoofing[3] or instant messaging,[4] it often directs users to enter personal information at a fake website, the look and feel of which are identical to the legitimate site.[5]

Phishing is an example of social engineering techniques being used to deceive users. Users are often lured by communications purporting to be from trusted parties such as social web sites, auction sites, banks, online payment processors or IT administrators.[6]

Attempts to deal with phishing incidents include legislation, user training, public awareness, and technical security measures — because phishing attacks also often exploit weaknesses in current web security.[7]

The word itself is a neologism created as a homophone of fishing, due to the similarity of using a bait in an attempt to catch a victim.

Some phishing scams use JavaScript commands in order to alter the address bar of the website they lead to.[27] This is done either by placing a picture of a legitimate URL over the address bar, or by closing the original bar and opening up a new one with the legitimate URL.[28]

An attacker can also potentially use flaws in a trusted website's own scripts against the victim.[29] These types of attacks (known as cross-site scripting) are particularly problematic, because they direct the user to sign in at their bank or service's own web page, where everything from the web address to the security certificates appears correct. In reality, the link to the website is crafted to carry out the attack, making it very difficult to spot without specialist knowledge.

  30. Human trafficking cases like this one occur in every corner of the world.[2] In 2017, the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Walk Free Foundation, in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) released research results[3]asserting that:
    • More than 40 million people were victims of modern slavery in 2016.
    • Some 71 percent of them were women and girls.
    • Women and girls comprised 84 percent of victims of forced marriage and 99 percent of victims of forced labor in commercial sexual exploitation.
    • A quarter of victims of modern slavery were children.

    and girls

Forced labor occurs in sectors such as domestic work, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, fishing, and commercial sexual exploitation. Article 3, paragraph (a) of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, often called the ‘Palermo Protocol’, defines trafficking in persons as:
The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labor or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.[4]
    Prevention and aftercare
In the case described above, Manaw was an underage child who was a survivor of forced labor. This work damaged her developmental health because she was denied the right to attend school and the nurturing environment of a safe family. She was threatened that, if she ran away, the police would arrest her for living and working in Thailand without citizenship or legal documentation.
Yet at twelve years old, she was able to summon the courage to escape. She requested assistance from a local shop owner who took her to the police station. Manaw was placed in a government shelter for a few months while her case was investigated and was subsequently referred to the New Life Center Foundation (NLCF) for aftercare.

The NLCF is a legally registered non-governmental organization in northern Thailand that was founded in 1987 by missionaries serving with International Ministries of the American Baptist Churches. The NLCF serves hilltribe minority girls and young women who are at high risk for or survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking.
The organization provides comprehensive residential care, education, life-skills training, and therapeutic services for an average of 70 residential students. Additionally, over 200 non-residential students receive university scholarships, mentoring, and case management. The NLCF also conducts prevention campaigns throughout the region to educate rural tribal villagers about human trafficking, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Students conduct campaigns in their own minority languages using drama, music, and dance.
Drawing from over 30 years of grass-roots experience, the NLCF has gained a unique perspective that informs how we provide aftercare services for survivors of trafficking and other kinds of trauma. The recommendations below are offered with the humble recognition that our experience emerges from a particular context. The reader is encouraged to consider how these principles may be adapted to fit other ministry contexts.

  31. According to Wikipedia Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others. This may encompass providing a spouse in the context of forced marriage, or the extraction of organs or tissues, including for surrogacy and ova removal. Human trafficking can occur within a country or trans-nationally. Human trafficking is a crime against the person because of the violation of the victim's rights of movement through coercion and because of their commercial exploitation. Human trafficking is the trade in people, especially women and children, and does not necessarily involve the movement of the person from one place to another.
    Philippines also experiencing this kind of crime the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal, manipulation or implantation of organs;
    The consent of a victim of trafficking in persons to the intended exploitation set forth in sub-paragraph of this article shall be irrelevant where any of the means set forth in subparagraph have been used;
    The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of a child for the purpose of exploitation shall be considered "trafficking in persons" even if this does not involve any of the means set forth in sub-paragraph (a) of this article;
"Child" shall mean any person under eighteen years of age.
According to the International Centre for Migration Policy Development(ICMPD), people smuggling is a violation of national immigration laws of the destination country, and does not require violations of the rights of the smuggled person. Human trafficking, on the other hand, is a crime against a person because of the violation of the victim's rights through coercion and exploitation.
According to R.A No. 10364 or The Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012 Published

  34. Although human trafficking can occur at local or domestic levels, it has international implications, as recognized by the United Nations in the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children (also referred to as the Trafficking Protocol or the Palermo Protocol), an international agreement under the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) which entered into force on 25 December 2003. The protocol is one of three which supplement the CTOC.[17] The Trafficking Protocol is the first global, legally binding instrument on trafficking in over half a century, and the only one with an agreed-upon definition of trafficking in persons. One of its purposes is to facilitate international cooperation in investigating and prosecuting such trafficking. Another is to protect and assist human trafficking's victims with full respect for their rights as established in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Many people who fall victim of trafficking want to escape poverty, improve their lives, and support their families. Often they get an offer of a well-paid job abroad or in another region. Often they borrow money from their traffickers in advance to pay for arranging the job, travel and accommodation.

  35. According to its definition the Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others. ...
Human trafficking is a major public health problem, both domestically and internationally. Health care providers are often the only professionals to interact with trafficking victims who are still in captivity. The expert assessment and interview skills of providers contribute to their readiness to identify victims of trafficking. The purpose of this article is to provide clinicians with knowledge on trafficking and give specific tools that they may use to assist victims in the clinical setting. Definitions, statistics, and common health care problems of trafficking victims are reviewed. The role of the health care provider is outlined through a case study and clinical practice tools are provided. Suggestions for future research are also briefly addressed.

According to the US Department of State, human trafficking is “The recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of subjection to involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery.”4 Sex trafficking is “When a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion, or when the person induced to perform such an act has not attained 18 years of age.”4 A victim need not be physically transported from one location to another in order for the crime to fall within these definitions.4

Sex trafficking and prostitution are not the same, but the distinction between the two is subtle and difficult to define.7 The literature on the conceptual differences is conflicting and largely dependent on the author’s beliefs about legalized prostitution. The main distinctions made in the literature between trafficking and prostitution are consent and coercion.8 Sex trafficking and prostitution are similar in that both are exploitive; women may suffer sexual assault by clients and/or pimps; and women may suffer extreme stress reactions, trauma, depression, and multiple medical problems.

  36. Human Trafficking
    Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights. Every year, thousands of men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad. Almost every country in the world is affected by trafficking, whether as a country of origin, transit or destination for victims. UNODC, as guardian of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) and the Protocols thereto, assists States in their efforts to implement the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons (Trafficking in Persons Protocol).The consent of a victim of trafficking in persons to the intended exploitation set forth in sub-paragraph of this article shall be irrelevant where any of the means set forth in subparagraph have been used;

Human trafficking is different. The trafficker is moving a person for exploitation. There is no need to cross an international border. Human trafficking occurs at a national level, or even within one community. The thing are very important is follow what our government implement in our country.

  37. Media and information plays an important role in our society. Media refers to the tools of mass communication in which consists of television, internet, newspaper, magazines, books, radio and cellphone or telephone. Media can give us information that we need in order for us to be updated in our society or we can be updated what is the latest trend. In fact, media influence has become so powerful today that they can easily influence people positively or negatively. We also live in a society that people nowadays depends on the media as a source of entertainment and information. Many people would say that their life would be incomplete without media. Why? Because media provides an easy means of communication in which people are able to contact their friends and families from another side of the world. At the same time, media like television, radio and internet enhance our knowledge by providing access to information especially for those students like me that we badly need this media to get some information that we need. It can also be such a powerful educational tool for us or for the younger generation helping to put them on the right path for instance an educational show in television that we usually see every day like “I believe”,“math tinik” or “sesame street” is one of the TV programs that has a positive influence to younger generation. They taught the kids how to communicate effectively, to spell correctly and have fun with learning. However media have this negative effect. It can cause cyber bullying in social media that we usually encountered.
On the other hand users should be responsible on using media like for example applying the different netiquettes and also the user knows how to disseminate information. The use of media can be positive and negative to the individual or society. In a positive way, media makes our lifestyle easier, for example,we can get to know what is going on out there, locally or globally, within a short space of time. Even though there are so many benefits from media images,we have to be careful not to let them influence us unknowingly. We need to be wise when using the media and we should be responsible using media and remember one of the netiquettes"think before you click”.

  38. HUMAN TRAFFIKING
People who live in difficult conditions, are attracted by opportunity to improve their life in richer and more developed countries, at the same time in the destination countries the demand for low-paid workers in irregular employment sectors, as well as legal employment sectors with low wages are increasing.Traffickers relate to people as commodities, as things that can be exploited, something that can be traded for profit. Those victims of human trafficking, paying a terrible price – the physical and psychological trauma, disease, loss of relationships with family and loved ones, emotional trauma, drug addiction, AIDS.The term “human trafficking” evolved over the centuries and transformed in light of changing eras, development and humanization of society and the revision of the existing moral canons. There was a perennial struggle with this disgraceful phenomenon that does not stop till this day.

  39. HUMAN TRAFFICKING. Have you ever felt alone with nobody there to help you? Have you ever felt the pressure to preform or face getting beat or threatened to be killed? This is a life that people all around the world have to face because of human trafficking. This growing business of trafficking has become a problem that affects almost every country in the world. Some nations are pushing to make a change, however it has seen little to no success. The desire for people to abduct innocent humans to put them to work for your own profit needs to be put to a stop before it gets out of hand. Human trafficking is a problem because of the way it degrades innocent people and the demand for such trafficking to be a force; it creates a huge problem that needs to become a top priority for governments around the world.Did you know that some crates delivered to the Port of Oakland contain people in them who have been either sold or abducted? Human Trafficking and slavery is commonly known in third world countries, because they do not have the money to stop or prevent it. Traffickers lure victims with promises of good jobs overseas, but instead they take and use them for different things, such as sex or income. Trafficking goes against the Universal Declaration of Human Rights multiple times, such as Article 5, Freedom from Torture and Degrading Treatment. While some countries are trying to end human trafficking and slavery, other cannot afford it. Without a full global effort human trafficking and slavery cannot be completely eliminated; it can be prevented, but people are unaware of the fact that it is happening, and that is why it is increasing greatly.Human trafficking comprises all acts of human transfer from one region to another with the aim of exploiting the services of the victims. The means that obtaining of such persons might be done by force, abduction, or deception. Those charged with the crime of human trafficking includes all those involved in the real action of recruiting, transportation and receiving of persons under traffic. This paper analyzes the activities that take place in Saint Luis Missouri and reviews their legality and illegality in relation to human trafficking.

In addition to the criminalization of trafficking, the Trafficking in Persons Protocol requires criminalization also of:
    · Attempts to commit a trafficking offence
    · Participation as an accomplice in such an offence
    · Organizing or directing others to commit trafficking.
National legislation should adopt the broad definition of trafficking prescribed in the Protocol. The legislative definition should be dynamic and flexible so as to empower the legislative framework to respond effectively to trafficking which:
    · Occurs both across borders and within a country (not just cross-border)
    · Is for a range of exploitative purpose

  41. Human trafficking

Human trafficking involves recruitment, harbouring or transporting people into a situation of exploitation through the use of violence, deception or coercion and forced to work against their will.

In other words, trafficking is a process of enslaving people, coercing them into a situation with no way out, and exploiting them.

People can be trafficked for many different forms of exploitation such as forced prostitution, forced labour, forced begging, forced criminality, domestic servitude, forced marriage, and forced organ removal

The penalties for human trafficking are severe. A conviction for holding a person in peonage carries potential fines and a maximum prison term of 20 years. If a death results or the violation included kidnapping, sexual abuse, or other aggravating factors, the maximum punishment increases to life imprisonment.

That's why we have to be more aware of this kind of crime. It's better to be late than to be sorry.

  44. Phishing is a type of social engineering attack often used to steal user data, including login credentials and credit card numbers. It occurs when an attacker, masquerading as a trusted entity, dupes a victim into opening an email, instant message, or text message. The recipient is then tricked into clicking a malicious link, which can lead to the installation of malware, the freezing of the system as part of a ransomware attack or the revealing of sensitive information.

Depending on scope, a phishing attempt might escalate into a security incident from which a business will have a difficult time recovering.

phishing is a cyber crime in which a target are contacted by email, telephone or text message by someone posing as a legitimate institution to lure individual into providing sensitive data such as personally identifiable information, banking and credit card details, and passwords. The information is then used to access important accounts and can result in identify theft and financial loss.Phishing is the fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, password and credit cards details by disguising as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.Typically carried out by email spoofing or instant messaging,it often direct users to enter personal information at a fake website, the look and feel of which are identical to the legitimate site.

Phishing is an example of social engineering techniques being used to deceived users.Users are often lured by communications purporting to be from trusted parties such as social website, auction sites, banks, online payment processors or IT administrator

Attempts to deal with phishing incident include legislation, user training, public awareness, and technical security measures, because phishing attacks also often exploit weaknesses in current web security.Phishers have sometimes used images instead of text to make it harder for anti phishing filters to detects the text commonly used in phishing emails. In response, more sophisticated anti phishing filters are able to recover hidden text in images.Phishing scams use JavaScript commands in order to alter the address bar of the website they lead to this is done either by placing a picture of a legitimate URL over the address bar,or by closing the original bar and opening up a new one with the legitimate URL.An attacker can potentially use flaws in a trusted website's own scripts against the victim. To avoid anti phishing techniques that scan website for phishing related text, phishers sometimes used Flash base website[a technique known as plashing]

  45. Media is extremely important to the perception of events by those exposed to specific media.Since perception is our individual reality, it is very important that we do not allow our source or any specific types of source of media. The public accessible media is privileged and obligated part of our society. The media can be a most useful building block that integrates the function in our communities by objectively circulating all manner of information and opinions.Alternatively, the media can be used to subjectively and selectively control the distribution of the same, and by distortions of content, become a poison to the very civilization that it pro-ported to serve. Media is the sword arm of democracy.Media acts as watch dog to protect public interest against in all practice and create public awareness. To deny when politicians are taking full advantage of their positions, an evil nexus of media and crime syndicate is making the life of the common man miserable, taxpayers money is siphoned out for the personnel gain of the influential and ordinary people are were spectator. Media has a greater responsibility,as the fourth pillar of democracy along with judiciary, executive and legislative, media of today has an all embracing role to act against the injustice, oppression, misdeeds and partially of our society. Media has remained an internal part of human civilization. from the days of vendors and Upanishads to edicts of king and emperor like Chandragupta,Asoka to the medieval media mass of keeping of the modern days audio video and print media, media has always taken a pivotal role in sleeping our society. media helps in fighting against corruptions, nepotism, cronyism of institutional machinery carrying out relentless campaign against them. But media has its own dis-advantage, for me I would use the term "risks", intents of dis-advantages. The risk of any media in a society that values of a free exchange of ideas is that media itself is co-opted to the point where it is capable drowning out of rendering alternative messages.
Your responsibility as users is that wherever you share something on media, make sure it something you don't mind 7 billion people watching or rending about. Think about the image you want to portray in the next 5,10,15..25 years as the content you share online will be there forever.
additionally, if you use media, over do it.Set up goals for media usages so that yo don't waste your time looking at memes.

  46. The media is the single most powerful entity on earth today, they have the power to create and change public opinions, with case the media is for more powerful then any world ever be,it control public discussion,it create sentiments,it create reality.the media has the power to literally change societies if they wanted to.How is it being used?It used as propaganda machine, and an instrument to persuade people into believing your selfish ideas.media on influence politics by what they say,but also by what they don't say.Gate keeping is the process trough which information is filtered for dissemination,be it publication, broad casting, the internet,or some other type of communication.Gate keeping occurs at all levels of the media structure, from a reporter deciding which sources are included in a storm to editors deciding which stories are pointed as covered ,and included media outlet owners and ever advertisers, there are two types of journalism, advocacy journalism and informative journalism.
Advocacy journalist have the objective to persuade you into believing their narrative and their view, they are not covered with informing you of the whole picture, they want to persuade you to believe the narrative that they believe ,everything can be 100 percent true and fact ,but they selectively on it certain information and correctly construct an information which serves their own purpose of advancing and pushing formed their views.Informative journalist or the other hand are term inform you, they don't selectively reportedly certain information ,they report everything without picking or selectively parts only, they give you the full the pictures. But aside from that media gets your message to a wider audience. To the various forms of media ,primarily television, newspaper and radio spread and disseminate information.Getting your information into the media will spread your group story partner that it could be spread without media coverage. Also it can help you to forget your message to the people you want to learn it.the media is so varied that a community group or organization can closely forget almost any sector and trough them almost any section of the public,by looking closely and where it is directing its media forces.Media will only give you news and information followed to what it thinks you want to read about. The information you are exposed to will be limited before you even begin. An individual personal accounts on media or social media are personal.the account are for you to may be expressing your opinions, engage with brands that you like, speak up on what your mind and talk to friends. But there are few absolute don't when it comes to media, according to me.
*SPREADING LATE-you see a lot of users now spacing radial discrimination comments, terrorism comments, religions rating, etc.Lets not do that.
*PORN or SEXUALLY EXPLICIT "stuff"-what social media platforms are public in nature unless you have change the privacy settings.
Other that the above there are few things that you should never be not to do on media that will make you a responsible user. They are less significant than the over above. But the under lying principle is this lets say you posted something today on one of your media account think will and loved would you want that post to represents you as a person 2 years from now and 5 years from now,to a future employer,to your future spouse and kids.

  47. Media and information are enables people to interpret and make informed judgments as users of information and media, as well as to become skillful creators and producers of information and media messages in their own right.[1]

Prior to the 1990s, the primary focus of information literacy was research skills.[2] Media literacy, a study that emerged around the 1970s, traditionally focuses on the analysis and the delivery of information through various forms of media.[3] Nowadays, the study of information literacy has been extended to include the study of media literacy in many countries like the UK,[4] Australia and New Zealand.[5] The term "information and media literacy" is used by UNESCO[1] to differentiate the combined study from the existing study of information literacy. It is also referred to as information and communication technologies (ICT) in the United States.[6][7] Educators such as Gregory Ulmer have also defined the field as electracy.

IML is a combination of information literacy and media literacy. The purpose of being information and media literate is to engage in a digital society; one needs to be able to understand, inquire, create, communicate and think critically. It is important to effectively access, organize, analyze, evaluate, and create messages in a variety of forms.[8] The transformative nature of IML includes creative works and creating new knowledge; to publish and collaborate responsibly requires ethical, cultural and social understanding. The media and information can function to strengthen and enrich the connections between the citizens and intermediary organization including political parties, social movement, as well as the economy. the spread of new freedoms and extent of frontiers of freedom that the public authorities have often attempted to control: religious, freedoms, gender, ethnicity and sexual freedoms based on social and cultural identities. The highly visual evolution it is the learners have been able to integrate variety of digital media forms into documents. Multimedia, hypermedia, new media are the terms that must be need to describe this use of visual media in learning. of course, this is not the beginning of our use of a variety of media to learn. people have always use diverse visual media to communicate with each other and learn. In general, "media" refers to various means of communication. For example, television, radio, and the newspaper are different types of media. The term can also be used as a collective noun for the press or news reporting agencies. In the computer world, "media" is also used as a collective noun, but refers to different types of data storage options.

Computer media can be hard drives, removable drives (such as Zip disks), CD-ROM or CD-R discs, DVDs, flash memory, USB drives, and yes, floppy disks. For example, if you want to bring your pictures from your digital camera into a photo processing store, they might ask you what kind of media your pictures are stored on. Are they on the flash memory card inside your camera or are they on a CD or USB drive? For this and many other reasons, it is helpful to have a basic understanding of what the different types of media are.

Many criminals are currently focusing on retrieving private data;they do this by using deceptive technique to carry out electronic fraud. This is also called phishing. The Cambridge dictionaries online defines phishing as;an attempt to trick someone into giving information over the internet or by email that would allow someone else to take money from them, for example by taking money at of their bank account.

Despite the fact that phishing is easy to present there are still many people who become a victim of a phishing attack.Developing measures against phishing is a challenging problem because victims help criminals in giving away their data.Beside that users generally have a lack of attention to security. The phenomenon of phishing may be unknown.Users Do not see privacy and security as their primary task.In general it is expected that organization take this responsibility.

Victims of phishing are often approached by email.Such as email appears to come from a trusted authority, such as a credit card company or a bank. The email generally has a professional look;neatly draw up,correct language usage and a logo from the authority at the top.Phishing happens not only by email but also by phone.Internet criminals call people to retrieve PINs and login codes.

  51. Phishing has so many kind and ways that people did, just like a type of social engineering attack often used to steal user data, including login credentials and credit card numbers. It occurs when an attacker, masquerading as a trusted entity, dupes a victim into opening an email, instant message, or text message.

Typically carried out by email spoofing or instant messaging,it often direct users to enter personal information at a fake website, the look and feel of which are identical to the legitimate site..Phishing scams use JavaScript commands in order to alter the address bar of the website they lead to this is done either by placing a picture of a legitimate URL over the address bar,or by closing the original bar and opening up a new one with the legitimate URL,phishing can also destruct other people who are doing good and it can affects other lives.People who are doing this kind of activity are obeying the law and destroying lives and phishing make also the community derives to evil one.

However unlike professional journalist, citizen journalist may not have conducted the same background research and source verification, which can make these lead less reliable.

  53. Media is considered as one of the most powerful tools in providing information to people or in society. Media is part of our daily lives. It informs, influences, and entertains us. Not only they inform us, they have also the capability in shaping our lives. Advertisements shown on television or even in the internet can affect the viewers. Some contains violence, nudity or anything that is inappropriate to the viewers who are children or under age. They might think the information on that certain advertisement is correct without proper guidance from the parents. In the internet, there is no censorship when it comes to information resulting to some users to take this as an advantage to spread false information all over the web. That is the reason that there are some users who were victimized by scammers, bullies and etc. Medias has biases also. They have the power to manipulate thus making viewers to believe on the information they insinuate. But all of those negativities written above can be abide. Parents must be vigilant on what their children are watching. They must ensure that it is age appropriate. Users in the internet must check the authenticity of the information. They must check the origin of it to avoid fallacy. Never post something too personal like bank numbers, address or any that might put you in jeopardy. Always consider one’s privacy. In detecting biases in media, look for the sources if it involves political perspectives. Check if the headline and actual article matches. Sometimes it contains double standards. Look who’s point of view is the article is written and find alternate point of views . Biased information tries to change your mind so as an individual we must not believe immediately. Our main source of to get information is the media. Without media, we will never be updated on the day-today events that is happening in our surrounding. Media is used to raise awareness but sometimes they use it for biases. In using the media, we must follow some rules and etiquettes. Information is powerful but we must not abuse it. We must turn ourselves as responsible users. Media has two sides, the positive and the negative. It can help us but it has the capability to destroy us. But it all depends on us. If we let them continue to do those negative things, we are only letting them play our lives. But if we become vigilant, we can truly avoid or stop those things. Responsibility is a big word. But it is one the things that are inevitable. Every individual plays a role in the society and a responsibility to take. There is one saying that serves as a reminder, With great power comes great responsibility.

  54. Theories of Citizenship
According to Vincent Campbell, theories of citizenship can be categorized into two core groups: those that consider journalism for citizenship, and those that consider journalism as citizenship.

The classical model of citizenship is the base of the two theories of citizenship. The classical model is rooted in the ideology of informed citizens and places emphasis on the role of journalists rather than on citizens.

The classical model has four main characteristics:

    journalists' role of informing citizens
citizens are assumed to be informed if they regularly attend to the news they are supplied with
more informed citizens are more likely to participate
the more informed citizens participate, the more democratic a state is more likely to be.[18]
The first characteristic upholds the theory that journalism is for citizens. One of the main issues with this is that there is a normative judgement surrounding the amount and nature of information that citizens should have as well as what the relationship between the two should be. One branch of journalism for citizens is the "monitorial citizen" (coined by Michael Schudson). The "monitorial citizen" suggests that citizens appropriately and strategically select what news and information they consume. The "monitorial citizen" along with other forms of this ideology conceive individuals as those who do things with information to enact change and citizenship. However, this production of information does not equal to an act of citizenship, but instead an act of journalism. Therefore, citizens and journalists are portrayed as distinctive roles whereas journalism is used by citizens for citizenship and conversely, journalists serve citizens.[18]

The second theory considers journalism as citizenship. This theory focuses on the different aspects of citizen identity and activity and understands citizen journalism as directly constituting citizenship. The term "liquid citizenship" (coined by Zizi Papacharissi) depicts how the lifestyles that individuals engage in allow them to interact with other individuals and organizations, which thus remaps the conceptual periphery of civic, political, and social. This "liquid citizenship" allows the interactions and experiences that individuals face to become citizen journalism where they create their own forms of journalism. An alternative approach of journalism as citizenship rests between the distinction between "dutiful" citizens and "actualizing" citizens. "Dutiful" citizens engage in traditional citizenship practices, while "actualizing" citizens engage in non-traditional citizenship practices. This alternative approach suggests that "actualizing" citizens are less likely to use traditional media and more likely to use online and social media as sources of information, discussion, and participation. Thus, journalism in the form of online and social media practices become a form of citizenship for actualizing citizens.[18]

Criticisms have been made against citizen journalism, especially from among professionals in the field. Citizen journalists are often portrayed as unreliable, biased and untrained – as opposed to professionals who have "recognition, paid work, unionized labour and behaviour that is often politically neutral and unaffiliated, at least in the claim if not in the actuality".

  55. Phishing is the fraudulent attempt to obtain sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by disguising as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication. There are 6 common phishing attacks and how to protect against them
Deceptive Phishing. The most common type of phishing scam, deceptive phishing refers to any attack by which fraudsters impersonate a legitimate company and attempt to steal people's personal information or login credentials. ...
    Spear Phishing. ...
    CEO Fraud. ...
    Pharming. ...
    Dropbox Phishing. ...
    Google Docs Phishing.
And also phishing is a cybercrime in which a target or targets are contacted by email, telephone or text message by someone posing as a legitimate institution to lure individuals into providing sensitive data such as personally identifiable information, banking and credit card details, and passwords.

Depending on scope, a phishing attempt might escalate into a security incident from which a business will have a difficult time recovering.and also is a cyber attack that uses disguised email as a weapon. The goal is to trick the email recipient into believing that the message is something they want or need — a request from their bank, for instance, or a note from someone in their company — and to click a link or download an attachment.

What really distinguishes phishing is the form the message takes: the attackers masquerade as a trusted entity of some kind, often a real or plausibly real person, or a company the victim might do business with. It's one of the oldest types of cyberattacks, dating back to the 1990s, and it's still one of the most widespread and pernicious, with phishing messages and techniques becoming increasingly sophisticated.

  56. In this day and age, one of the biggest cybersecurity issues is phishing. Between last October and March of this year, experts found that instances of phishing have increased 250%, putting phishing activity at the highest level it’s been in 12 years, as reported by Infosecurity Magazine. Because phishing is one of the most successful cybercrimes, it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Luckily, you can protect yourself by becoming familiar with what phishing is and how to spot the techniques most often used in phishing attacks.

Phishing describes lots of different scams, but the hallmark of each is that it involves victims giving up personal information to scammers under a guise of legitimacy. These scams utilize some sort of digital communication addressed to a potential target, usually via email, to lure victims into compromising their device or identity. For example, phishers might contact you by email, pretending to be your bank, a social media site or some other institution you trust. They’ll often request that you click a link, which leads to a site they control, to “sign into” your account, or they’ll ask you to click on a malicious attachment that will install malware on your machine. Less commonly, they might ask for your information outright, using very convincing details to prove they are who they’re pretending to be.

The earliest phishing scams began in the mid-90s on AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) and were started by hacking communities, like those of today’s dark web. Since hackers “lured” and “reeled” victims into giving up credit card numbers by pretending to be AOL employees, the activity became known as fishing. The term was later combined with the word phreak, likely a reference the phone phreaking culture of the late 50s to mid-70s in which pranksters exploited technology, mainly telephone systems, for fun or personal gain. Since its birth, hackers realizing the potential of phishing, expanded their reach far beyond AOL.

  57. Human trafficking is modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked in countries around the world, including the United States. For the purpose of exploitation, which includes exploiting the prostitution of others, sexual exploitation, forced labour, slavery or similar practices and the removal of organs.
Article 3, paragraph (a) of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons defines Trafficking in Persons as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.

    Elements Of Human Trafficking
    On the basis of the definition given in the Trafficking in Persons Protocol, it is evident that trafficking in persons has three constituent elements;

    The Act (What is done)

Recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons

The Means (How it is done)

Threat or use of force, coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of power or vulnerability, or giving payments or benefits to a person in control of the victim

The Purpose (Why it is done)

For the purpose of exploitation, which includes exploiting the prostitution of others, sexual exploitation, forced labour, slavery or similar practices and the removal of organs.

To ascertain whether a particular circumstance constitutes trafficking in persons, consider the definition of trafficking in the Trafficking in Persons Protocol and the constituent elements of the offense, as defined by relevant domestic legislation.

    Criminalization Of Human Trafficking
The definition contained in article 3 of the Trafficking in Persons Protocol is meant to provide consistency and consensus around the world on the phenomenon of trafficking in persons. Article 5 therefore requires that the conduct set out in article 3 be criminalized in domestic legislation. Domestic legislation does not need to follow the language of the Trafficking in Persons Protocol precisely, but should be adapted in accordance with domestic legal systems to give effect to the concepts contained in the Protocol.

  58. Citizen journalism, journalism that is conducted by people who are not professional journalists but who disseminate information using Web sites, blogs, and social media. Citizen journalism has expanded its worldwide influence despite continuing concerns over whether citizen journalists are as reliable as trained professionals. Citizens in disaster zones have provided instant text and visual reporting from the scene. People in countries affected by political upheaval and often in countries where print and broadcast media are controlled by the government have used a variety of technological tools to share information about hot spots. Swirling in the background of these developments was a debate over whether the term citizen journalism was itself accurate.

Both the term and the practice crystallized in South Korea, where the online entrepreneur Oh Yeon-ho declared in 2000 that “every citizen is a reporter.” Oh and three South Korean colleagues started an online daily newspaper in 2000 because, he said, they were dissatisfied with the traditional South Korean press. Unable to afford the costs of hiring professionals and printing a newspaper, they started OhmyNews, a Web site that used volunteers to generate its content. In a speech on the site’s seventh anniversary, Oh, the firm’s president and CEO, noted that the news site began with 727 citizen reporters in one country and by 2007 had grown to 50,000 contributors reporting from 100 countries.

Since then the Internet has spawned thousands of news sites and millions of bloggers. Traditional news media, while battling declining readership and viewership, leapt into the fray with their own Web sites and blogs by their own journalists, and many newspapers invited readers to contribute community news to their Web sites. Some groups started their own “hyperlocal” online news sites to cover happenings in their neighbourhoods or specialized topics of interest that were not reported by larger media organizations.

Among those who studied and nurtured citizen journalism, the phenomenon often went by other names. In a 2007 article, editor J.D. Lasica called it “participatory journalism,” though he described it as “a slippery creature. Everyone knows what audience participation means, but when does that translate into journalism?” Dan Gillmor, founder and director of the Center for Citizen Media and author of the book We the Media: Grassroots Journalism by the People, for the People (2004), also rejected any single definition for the transformation in news that had begun in the late 1990s. He called this era “a time of incredible exploration” because of the democratization of access to inexpensive and ubiquitous publishing tools.

Citizen journalism has played a major role in 21st-century political events. The Web site Twitter established itself as an emerging outlet for the dissemination of information during the protests following the Iranian presidential election in June 2009. Although the protests did not result in a change in the election results or a new election, the tweets of de facto journalists showed the potential of nontraditional media to circumvent government censorship. In Egypt, activists protesting the government of President Ḥosnī Mubārak during the uprising of 2011 often organized themselves by forming groups on the social networking Web site Facebook.

  60. Phishing is a cybercrime in which a target or
targets are contacted by email, telephone or
text message by someone posing as a
legitimate institution to lure individuals into
providing sensitive data such as personally
    identifiable information, banking and credit
    card details, and passwords.
The information is then used to access
important accounts and can result in identity
    theft and financial loss.
The first phishing lawsuit was filed in 2004 against a
Californian teenager who created the imitation of the
website “America Online”. With this fake website, he was
able to gain sensitive information from users and access
the credit card details to withdraw money from their
accounts. Other than email and website phishing, there’s
also 'vishing' (voice phishing), 'smishing' (SMS Phishing) and
several other phishing techniques cybercriminals are
    constantly coming up with.

    Common Features of Phishing

    1. Too Good To Be True - Lucrative offers and eye-
    catching or attention-grabbing statements are
    designed to attract people’s attention
immediately. For instance, many claim that you
have won an iPhone, a lottery, or some other
lavish prize. Just don't click on any
suspicious emails. Remember that if it seems to
good to be true, it probably is!

    2. Sense of Urgency - A favorite tactic amongst
cybercriminals is to ask you to act fast because
the super deals are only for a limited time. Some
of them will even tell you that you have only a
few minutes to respond. When you come across
these kinds of emails, it's best to just ignore
them. Sometimes, they will tell you that your
account will be suspended unless you update
your personal details immediately. Most reliable
organizations give ample time before they
terminate an account and they never ask
patrons to update personal details over the
Internet. When in doubt, visit the source directly
rather than clicking a link in an email.

    3. Hyperlinks - A link may not be all it appears to
be. Hovering over a link shows you the actual
URL where you will be directed upon clicking on
it. It could be completely different or it could be
a popular website with a misspelling, for
    instance www.bankofarnerica.com - the 'm' is
actually an 'r' and an 'n', so look carefully.

    4. Attachments - If you see an attachment in an
email you weren't expecting or that doesn't
make sense, don't open it! They often contain
payloads like ransomware or other viruses. The
only file type that is always safe to click on is a
    .txt file.

    5. Unusual Sender - Whether it looks like it's from
someone you don't know or someone you do
know, if anything seems out of the ordinary,
unexpected, out of character or just suspicious
in general don't click on it!

  61. The media is the window for the public to many issues that we
may not normally encounter, and has the ability to shape our
understanding of critical topics such as human trafficking. To
avoid sensationalism or bias, journalism on such issues must
be balanced and well-executed. However, many modern news
outlets prioritize sensationalism over fact-based coverage of
trafficking. As with all reporting, it is essential to prioritize the privacy and
safety of subjects involved. Victims of trafficking in particular
remain vulnerable even after being freed from direct
oppression. Discretion should always be exercised in regard to
personal information about victims. Their anonymity should be
prioritized as their reintegration into society can be difficult
and the possibility of re-victimization is ever present. The best hope we have of slowing this criminal enterprise is to
do a better job of making people less vulnerable to traffickers.
Done well, journalism can help create an informed society,
promote awareness and transparency and catalyze social
pressure. All these are necessary objectives to aspire for when
covering the issue of human trafficking. Only through
heightened exposure in the media can modern slavery receive
the visibility and traction it deserves in public discourse.

  62. Participating in social media forums, known collectively as allows communication and information-sharing with large groups of people instantaneously. Social media can fall into one of six primary categories:1
Social networks: sites that allow users to connect and share with people who have similar interests and backgrounds. Example: Facebook.
Bookmarking sites: sites that allow users to save and organize links to any number of online resources and websites. Example: Stumble Upon.
Social news: sites that allow users to post news links and other items to outside articles. Example: Reddit.
Media sharing: sites that allow users to share different types of media, such as pictures and video. Example: YouTube.
Microblogging: sites that allow users to submit short written entries, which can include links to products and service sites as well as links to other social media sites. Example: Twitter.
Blog comments and forums: sites that let users engage in conversations by posting and responding to community messages.
How Social Media is Being Used in

    Health Care and Education?
The use of social media in health care and education has climbed in recent years,2 leading to numerous opportunities and challenges. In hospital settings, social media can be used to alert patients to wait times, update patient status, deliver public health messages, recruit for research and communicate with staff. Healthcare providers also use social media to disseminate information, answer questions and communicate with patients. Several studies indicate that 70-90% of students in healthcare professions use social media.3 This is not a surprising finding because most of the current students in healthcare professions are in the Millennial generation, born after 1982. Millennials are accustomed to staying connected with the outside world using handheld, wireless devices and are considered “digital natives.”4

In the education environment, the opportunities intrinsic to social media are plentiful. Some of the potential opportunities include collaboration and connectivity among users, access to clinical experts, access to information from a number of different sources, and the ability to disseminate information. The development of content within social media, such as learning to concisely communicate through Twitter, can also be a valuable skill. In healthcare professions, storytelling or relaying clinical experiences are common and allow students the opportunity to reflect and share. When storytelling occurs on social media, feedback is immediate, camaraderie can provide emotional support, and input from others can enrich a learning experience. However, relaying clinical experiences via social media can also present significant challenges. Complying with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act maintaining professionalism, and respecting patient privacy and confidentiality are common challenges.

The following example represents a posting on social media by a medical student. “I had my first patient death, a man who served his country in combat. … I will never forget the last conversation I had with him, about his wife of 50 years. They met when they were just kids and had such a great life together, raising three daughters. … The wife never saw this coming, she looked so shaken and scared.”5 Although this example does not violate HIPAA, it raises the question of whether it respects the patient’s privacy. The patient may have felt comfortable sharing these personal details with his doctor, but the patient and/or family members may not have intended the information to be shared on Facebook.5 Several professional medical organizations have attempted to address these types of challenges.

According to dictionary, it is the collection, dissemination,  and analysis of news and information by the general public, especially by means of internet.

According to my own research,  Citizen journalism is the collecting and reporting information in social media and etc. It is also refers to the reporting of news events by members of the public using the internet to spread the information. The role of citizen journalism is to developof information and communication technologies,  especially the internet,  has led to the emergence of said name,  which means to active role of citizen in the process of collecting,  reporting, analyzing and disseminating news and informations.  Citizen journalism is somehow important in India because in citizen journalism is an active involvement of the public or citizen in communicating information at the grass-roots level. It is different from the concept of proffesional journalism. Citizen journalism in India plays a very critical role in imparting information. An example of said name,  police officer or city clerks could operate as citizen journalist they were to release information about an incident. However,  an early example of citizen journalism can be found as far back as1963.

  64. Citizen Journalism- it refers to the reporting of news events by members of the public using the Internet to spread the information. Citizen journalism can be a simple reporting of facts and news that is largely ignored by large media companies. It is easily spread through personal websites, blogs, microblogs, social media and so on.
    - I think this can have a lot of effects on people especially now that technology has become more useful to people that in just one single click it can either have good things or even bad things to say to you that will have big impact to the person that is being talked to, without knowing the story or even just knowing wether it is true or not because everything has its own story behind that became the reason they have done such things. And I so believe that some or maybe most of the large media companies ignore simple reports or news because they may think that it is not useful or beneficial to their company, or it won't make their company big or known or maybe that certain company has favoured to the person who has lots of fans and supporters because they know they can benefit from it and will make their company known so they will just neglect the truth about that simple reports or news and settle for the one that can contribute for them the most.
Well, being neglected by some big companies can hurt us but I think spreading the facts and news through personal websites, blogs, microblogs, social media and so on is more helpful or way more efficient than reporting or seeing the news on television network now that cellphones, laptops and tablets are more useful especially to the teenagers who need this facts and news the most.
The publisher or the maker of this facts and news must make sure that he or she will be responsible to any punishment or consequences that what he or she has written or spread over the internet is true and not just some fake news so that people who will be reading the facts and news would not regret that they gave some time reading a more worthy story of a truly concerned citizen otherwise if proven wrong or not true, that person will face the consequences or the punishment of what he or she has written and spread over the internet the worst is people who is thinking of reading the facts and news on the internet will not think of reading in the internet again bacause of what happened. Before using the internet for whatever purpose it may be, we should always think first the things that might happen to us and to other people. We should always think of the consequences we will face before doing actions that might hurt other people. We should always be aware of the things that is happening in us, in other people and most especially in our surroundings.

  65. The word media is derived from the word medium signifying mode of carrier. Media is intended for which to reach and address a large target group or audience. The word was first used in a respect of books, and newspaper example print media with the advert of technology media now encompass television, movies, radio and internet In today's media is playing an outstanding role in creating and slapping of public opinion and strengthening of society. It leads into an innovation and changes in the society in terms of daily aspect and standard of information that has been created. I guess to sum it up having a media is the fact that population can become increasingly polarized in separate direction this increasing disorder in an nation. Media brings a social benefits to the people in making this easy and convenient through the help of innovation and technology, that engaged of empowering the power media and information. It gives the world to understand complex things and expand information just on one click all over the nations worldwide.

But media has its own dis-advantages, reports from untrained observer are very often or poor quality, in accurate with even mystical. Casual observer very often, do not fully understand what is taking place. It lack the skills and motivation to interview participation to get the full unvarnished story. Reports are often distorted by the built-in bias (prejudice) of the observer. Reports may be fabricated and meant to inflame public opinion or conversely to play down the impact of an event for some reason known only to the reporter.
Personally,I would only use social media to obtain leads, never to actually report a event. Hopefully no professional media organization uses media as a story source.
Just don't do anything stupid on social media or media bullying people and writing mean comments an pictures obviously isn't right.
post what every you want to post but be careful of consequences that might come after you post something. If someone direct messages you with anything in appropriate then report it or block them. That's how can be responsible user, if someone continuously bothers you try reporting the users in the case of how much time you spend on social media, being responsible with how much time you spend in social media/ hard is hard. Set aside certain times during the day where you put your phone down and take a break. Always secure your personal data, your interest and privacy as a user.

  67. Human Trafficking’ is one among the many other types of transnational crimes growing in magnitude daily. Every year hundreds of thousands of men, women and children are trafficked illegally all over the world. It is perhaps the most devastating physical and psychological trauma experienced by men, women and children of all ages. Just as the narcotics trade and weapons smuggling all have one trait in common, human trafficking and their ill-gotten proceeds feed conflict, instability and repression worldwide. It is no doubt that many international organisations across the globe from the United States, Europe to the Mekong Delta region provide vital help to victims in need, working across borders, creating Global Human Trafficking Hotline Networks. These measures include sharing practices on anti-trafficking strategies that build on common patterns focusing on eradication, prevention and victim protection. Yet, trafficking continues to thrive. The objective of this paper is to examine the role of the media in raising awareness and the possibleThere are few data on the use of technology in human trafficking. This study attempted to address this gap in knowledge through field surveys that took place in India, Nepal, Thailand, Hungary, and the United Kingdom between 2010 and 2013. This research comprised face-to-face interviews with a total number of 246 individuals in 5 countries, consisting of 97 female victims, 64 traffickers, and 85 clients. The interviews were designed to help understand the role of technology such as the Internet, online social networking, and mobile phones in human trafficking. The survey was carried out using semi-structured questionnaires to find out how victims used technological devices under pre- and post-trafficking circumstances, how they advertised themselves, how diverse services and technologies were used to trade in sexually exploited trafficked people, and how clients explored, communicated, and paid for their sex transactions. The results showed that traffickers and their networks made good use of sophisticated software in order to safeguard their anonymity, make use of online storage and hosting services, and use advanced encryption techniques to counteract digital forensic investigations by the police.Media has the duty of respecting discretion with reference to personal information about victims, prioritizing their anonymity, considering their difficulty to reintegrate into society and the possibility of their re-victimization being always present. Due to the lack of a realistic validation of these cases, the challenge in covering such stories is narrating them undocumented. However, by pointing out the connection between our daily lives and modern day slavery, through these stories media plays a great role in holding the perpetuators “on the hook”, but also call upon the society, consumers and governments.

  69. Media comes with many forms and styles. It is one of the most powerful material that people are exposed and dependent to.
Because of the innovation and upgraded development of technology people nowadays easily get information from media. Basically, media performs three functions:
    1.To inform
Individual especially if you are a student find media very useful as it provides information you needed in your research and other project which you cannot find in books.
    2.To influence
Virtual world is one of the non-tangible thing which contributed a lot in influencing its users which comes in different behavior, either to influence in a bad or good way.
    3.To entertain
Because of media, Internet exist. Thus, we have YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc which people are very fond of, because it gives them entertainment.

Today, the World benefit more with the use of media and information.
“ Media is a very powerful tool capable of mobilizing people's contemplation and ideologies.” — Mock 2004
The power of media and information has affect peoples lives positively and negatively. Usually people make media as escapism from reality. They tend to forget the real world they're at and focuses more in virtual world which is a bad effect because they spend more of their time facing their computer, phone and laptop than engaging themselves in physical activities which sometimes lead to sedentary lifestyle.
Hence, media and information has contributed a lot in our society, like for example, through media people can communicate with the others in every corner of the world. It provides accessible information we need and make lives easier than before. But all of this depends in the user. As a user of media and information, you should be responsible enough to take responsibility and be literate of what kind of world you are entering with.

"With great power comes greater responsibility" Media is powerful enough to ruin ones lives if not use wisely.People should be careful posting their personal information to protect themselves, avoid spreading false news to avoid miscommunication sand do not get involved in any online misdeed activity like Human trafficking which is a criminal activity in which people are recruited, harbors, transported, bought or kidnapped to serve an exploitative purpose such as sexual slavery, forced labor or child soldiery.

Phishing which is an online activity wherein they attain to obtain someone's personal information such as username, passwords or even credit card details and use them for malicious reasons,as such, they could use them to fraud you. They may look like a trusted company or site that's why most people get tricked easily.

Individuals should be literate in using the media preferably by the used of internet.Phishing has victimize thousands of users with two main reasons, 1)the scumbag are too literate with the usage of medias which sometimes made them think inappropriately, and 2) Users are victimized are lack awareness of how to manage well their accounts in medias and information, they simply use they do not observe and criticized.

In this kind of problem, it is a must for a person to be a media and information literate not just for the good of oneself but also to protect one selves from people or other users who utilized this in a wrongful manner/attitude just to meet their wants. To avoid being victimized by Phishing, you should not trust your personal information with just anyone(person or company) without criticizing them for being legit or not or better yet do not trust them with your personal information if its not necessary.

Individual should be careful in the world of media. It is full of powerful knowledge which an individual may don't control and let be devoured by its wrong system. They provide knowledge but you should also be responsible of what you are acquiring and what you are doing to avoid unethical or illegal involvement in the media.

  70. Human Trafficking many girls dream of having a better life, so they agree to come across other countries. One of the goal they have is to provide their family financially. However, they never realize that their dreams could be shattered by the crime Human Trafficking. Human trafficking is the illegal trade in human beings for the purposes of reproductive slavery, commercial sexual exploitation. The word "trafficking" includes the word "traffic," which means with transportation or travel. However, the words look and sound alike, but it does not hold the same meaning. It is also considered a forced labor, or a modern-day form of slavery. It is considered to be the second largest crime.

According to the International Labor Organization (ILO), forced labor alone (one component of human trafficking) generates an estimated $150 billion in profits per annum as of 2014.[10] In 2012, the ILO estimated that 21 million victims are trapped in modern-day slavery. Of these, 14.2 million (68%) were exploited for labor, 4.5 million (22%) were sexually exploited, and 2.2 million (10%) were exploited in state-imposed forced labor.[11] The International Labor Organization has reported that child workers, minorities, and irregular migrants are at considerable risk of more extreme forms of exploitation. Statistics shows that over half of the world’s 215 million young workers are observed to be in hazardous sectors, including forced sex work and forced street begging.[12] Ethnic minorities and highly marginalized groups of people are highly estimated to work in some of the most exploitative and damaging sectors, such as leather tanning, mining, and stone quarry work.

According to the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), people smuggling is a violation of national immigration laws of the destination country, and does not require violations of the rights of the smuggled person. Human trafficking, on the other hand, is a crime against a person because of the violation of the victim's rights through coercion and exploitation.
The Global Report recorded victims of 137 different nationalities detected in 142 countries between 2012 and 2016, during which period, 500 different flows were identified. Around half of all trafficking took place within the same region with 42 per cent occurring within national borders. One exception is the Middle East, where most detected victims are East and South Asians. Trafficking victims from East Asia have been detected in more than 64 countries, making them the most geographically dispersed group around the world. There are significant regional differences in the detected forms of exploitation. Countries in Africa and in Asia generally intercept more cases of trafficking for forced labour, while sexual exploitation is somewhat more frequently found in Europe and in the Americas. Additionally, trafficking for organ removal was detected in 16 countries around the world. The Report raises concerns about low conviction rates – 16 per cent of reporting countries did not record a single conviction for trafficking in persons between 2007 and 2010. As of February 2018, 173 countries have ratified the United Nations Trafficking in Persons Protocol, of which UNODC is the guardian.[18] Significant progress has been made in terms of legislation: as of 2012, 83 per cent of countries had a law criminalizing trafficking in persons in accordance with the Protocol.

Job recruiter or operator is also one way of enabling women victims themselves avoid that trap, that trafficking prepares them.

  74. Human trafficking describes the recruitment, transportation, harboring or receipt of people for the purposes of slavery, forced labor (including bonded labor or debt bondage). It has become a significant problem both domestically and internationally, 161 countries are reported to be a source for human trafficking, a transition or destination countries for human trafficking. There are many challenges that exist in human trafficking, it is difficult to report trafficking, the victims of human trafficking are difficult to identify and laws that exist make it difficult to charge traffickers and punish them. Despite this growing human rights issue, most citizens and even those in law enforcement remain unaware of this harsh reality and the extent of the problem of trafficking.
Since this is such a booming industry, profits from trafficking contribute to the expansion of organized crime in the United States and around the world. The status of women is low in other countries which contribute to making them easy targets to traffickers. In recent studies it showed that 98 percent of victims who were trafficked were women and children, and 43 percent of these trafficking victims are used for forced commercial sexual exploitation. Since those are trafficked are usually hidden from society and low enforcement, it’s extremely difficult to identify those who are victims mainly come from countries with weak and corrupt law governments and law enforcement. There are many common characteristics of victims who are trafficked, many are from communities suffering high rates of crime, lack of education or family support, and may also have histories of physical and sexual abuse.
Human trafficking goes hand in hand with slavery and is a problem that society keeps overlooking, even though; it has and will continue to affect millions of people. Trafficking is a type of slavery involving the trade or transport of people or goods. Human trafficking pertains only to the recruitment, transportation, and harboring by force or third person party. Men, women and children are exposed to trafficking. In most cases, women and children are reported to have been involved in commercial sexual exploitation and child domestic labor. Human trafficking is not only an issue in the United States. It is a crisis spreading nationwide. It has increasingly advanced within Asia and Europe. Trafficking primarily involves exploitation which comes in many forms. It includes forcing victims into prostitution, subjecting victims to slavery or involuntarily servitude, compelling victims to commit sex acts for the purpose of creating pornography and misleading into victims into dept bondage (Horen). The majority of victims of sex trafficking are women and girls. The victims are lured into situations of sex trafficking by a promise of a good job in another country, a false marriage proposal turned into a bondage situation, being sold into the sex trade by parents and husbands and in most cases kidnapped by traffickers. Victims are frequently subjected to debt bondage, an illegal practice in which the traffickers tell their victims that they owe money and that they must pledge their personal services to repay the debt.

  78. HUMAN TRAFFICKING

    What is Human Trafficking?
-Human Trafficking Response to Human Trafficking Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Human Trafficking Further Information
    What is Human Trafficking?
    -Article 3, paragraph (a) of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons defines Trafficking in Persons as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation.Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs Elements Of Human Trafficking Act Means Purpose On the basis of the definition given in the Trafficking in Persons Protocol, it is evident that trafficking in persons has three constituent elements;
Criminalization Of Human Trafficking The definition contained in article 3 of the Trafficking in Persons Protocol is meant to provide consistency and consensus around the world on the phenomenon of trafficking in persons. In addition to the criminalization of trafficking, the Trafficking in Persons Protocol requires criminalization also of: Attempts to commit a trafficking offence Participation as an accomplice in such an offence Organizing or directing others to commit trafficking.
National legislation should adopt the broad definition of trafficking prescribed in the Protocol. The legislative definition should be dynamic and flexible so as to empower the legislative framework to respond effectively to trafficking which Occurs both across borders and within a country (not just cross-border)
Is for a range of exploitative purposes (not just sexual exploitation)
Victimizes children, women and men (Not just women, or adults, but also men and children) Takes place with or without the involvement of organized crime groups.

  79. Taking part in the information society is essential for citizens of all age groups. The Internet provides great opportunities to improve life for all users. It has positive effects on education, the working world and economic growth. With easy digitalization and storage of information and accessibility through a wide range of devices, the Internet has enormously increased the information resources available to people. Children and young people are often well acquainted with its applications and can benefit from its use tremendously, but they are also vulnerable. Risks and threats accompany this positive development, often in parallel to those that already exist in the offline world.

Taking measures to protect minors may help address the problem. As helpful as these measures might be, however, total reliance on protection strategies has not been effective in enabling young people to use the Internet responsibly. The best way to help them stay out of harms way is to empower and educate them on how to avoid or manage risks related to Internet use. Technologies can play a useful and supportive role in this area, especially where children and young people are concerned.

  80. Some says that the media has too much power. They have the power to shape public opinion. They tend to cover the same stories over and over the same opinion.
Some argue that the media tells people what to think about. Agenda setting is when the media sets the boundaries of public debate be deciding which issues to cover and which will not.

Some examples of 'Opportunities Challenges in Media and Information' are:

    • Human Trafficking

is a hidden crime as victims rarely come forward to seek help because of language barriers, fear of the traffickers, and/or fear of law enforcement. Traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to lure their victims and force them into labor or commercial sexual exploitation.
Human trafficking can occur within a country or trans-nationally. Human trafficking is a crime against the person because of the violation of the victim's rights of movement through coercion and because of their commercial exploitation. Some of the common factors are local conditions that make populations want to migrate in search of better conditions: poverty, oppression, lack of human rights, lack of social or economic opportunity, dangers from conflict or instability and similar conditions.

    • Phishing

is a type of social eTrafficking
attack often used to steal user data, including login credentials and credit card numbers. It occurs when an attacker, masquerading as a trusted entity, dupes a victim into opening an email, instant message, or text message. What really distinguishes phishing is the form the message takes: the attackers masquerade as a trusted entity of some kind, often a real or plausibly real person, or a company the victim might do business with. It's one of the oldest types of cyberattacks, back to the 1990s, and it's still one of the mos.

The internet is revolutionizing the distribution and sales of travel and tourism information. It provides direct access to end consumer, but it is also a tool for business to business commercialization. The internet and its protocols have created a universal platform for communication and presentation.
Internet marketing in the tourism industry can help you connect with your client, show them the visual appeal of your destination and positively get more exposure than you would with traditional print advertising.

  81. Media evolve overtime from simple to complex ideas that can help shape the society. Media is a vital role in our society because of its great contributions. Some of the contributions of media in the society involves the following:
They serve us our beacon of information
Media is the source of our information it serves us our basis in the events that is happening in our generation today. Most medium involves news and shows that we watch, read and listen to. By media we are able to spread the news and be aware of the things that are currently happening and the things we must prepare for. Media had also contributed a lot to students especially in our generation now most of the students are more likely to face a mobile phone or laptop than face a book.
Media serves us the bridge to communication
Indeed media had contributed a lot in terms of communication they serves us the cement that filled the gap of communication in our society. Media can reunite long distance family and friends without a hassle today. It is also a great help for business persons to use media as a platform in introducing and promoting their product. Media is also a great help especially in contacting long distance relatives. From letters to messages just one click and you can change anything.
Internet marketing in the tourism industry
Media is a great help in the industry of tourism because of its ability to create opportunities just by posting it through different accounts. Media can promote and can be used to connect with clients that is an opportunity to success.
Media is an important part of the society not just it makes our life easier it can also enhance our knowledge to modern technology. Despite of the contributions of media it also contains dangers if not properly guided and educated.
If not properly guided and educated media can turn into your happiness to your worst nightmare.in media all the information listed upon your chosen account shall be public and more likely thousands of people are watching over you waiting for you to commit mistakes. Mostly media can become a toxic place if the persons involve in sharing the news does not understand the core and importance of media. Aside from that there are also dangerous things that can happen inside the world of media. First is that one might become involve in human trafficking if not supervised properly, Human trafficking involves the trade of human for labor, sexual, slavery or money. Second is phishing it involves stealing of identity of a person. They phish your accounts by their convincing programs without you knowing that you have been robbed already
Media contains a positive and a negative aspect and the proper ways of showing it to the public depends on the user itself. To be properly educated one must first think before he/she clicks on something because when you make your decision there is no turning back all you have to do is to face the consequence of your action whether it is a good one or a bad one.

  85. Citizen Journalism
Pretty much everyone now has the means to report what is going on in the world around them. Even the most basic phone has a camera, and it is simple to post images, video and text to social media sites at the click of a button. Consequently citizen journalists - ordinary people doing the job of reporters - are everywhere.

And there are significant benefits to our understanding of the world. Particularly in straitened times, journalists can't be everywhere at once and often arrive after the news event has actually happened. In many cases, such as during the Arab Spring, journalists can be banned or censored by regimes and individuals that don't want stories to be reported. So citizen journalists with camera phones can be our sole source of first hand information. Much of this then feeds into the traditional media, with TV news and national newspapers running stories based on reports filed by citizen journalists.

Nearer to home, the closure of many local newspapers has spurred community activists to launch alternative sites and blogs. Many of these aim to hold local councils and elected representatives to account, using the Freedom of Information Act to unearth key facts about how we are governed.

All great stuff and to be praised, but there are three key reasons that we should be wary about what citizen journalists write, publish and upload.

Firstly, bias. As someone that studied history, I know that bias is evident in anything we say, write or do - whether we know it or not. Professional journalists are trained to understand both sides of a story and (as much as possible) divorce bias from what they are writing. It is why the majority of stories have quotes for and against a subject in them, even if the overall tone is slanted to left or right. Citizen journalists don't have this training and may well have an axe to grind - potentially making their reports unreliable, whether consciously or not.

Second, the law. The laws of libel apply equally to the internet, as many people found out with the Lord McAlpine case. Again, journalists are trained to understand libel law and what can and can't be said. Reddit's coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing demonstrated what can happen when citizen journalists are given an unpoliced platform. The site's Find Boston Bombers thread wrongly accused several people of being involved in the atrocity, leading to harassment of their families and potentially slowing down the police investigation. In today's instant news cycle, where an unsubstantiated tweet can be front page news in seconds, there's a real issue with potentially malicious or unthinking reports quickly making it into the mainstream news.

Finally, there's the area of copyright. Lots of news sites now actively encourage you to upload your pictures, video and text to give added perspective on news and features. The latest, the Guardian's Witness site, provides the chance to contribute to live news and other content through a smartphone app. Content is vetted before going onto the site, with stories and videos made available to journalists for potentially developing into bigger pieces. All great, except that as soon as you post your prized video, The Guardian gets an unconditional, perpetual and worldwide licence to use it as it sees fit. You may still retain the copyright, but the paper can commercially exploit the content however it wants.

Controlling how news is reported and disseminated is inextricably linked to power. Hence why dictatorships have always censored or removed the free press and run state TV stations with a rod of iron. While much of the western world has moved on from that, media is often controlled by a certain group, making citizen journalism a vital part of the opening up of reporting to everyone. But if it is to truly make a lasting impact for good, citizen journalists need to understand their own responsibilities when it comes to bias, the law and copyright and act accordingly.

  86. What Exactly is Human Trafficking?

Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others. This may encompass providing a spouse in the context of forced marriage, or the extraction of organs or tissues, including for surrogacy and ova removal.

Human trafficking is modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. Every year, millions of men, women, and children are trafficked in countries around the world, including the United States.

Traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to lure their victims and force them into labor or commercial sexual exploitation

People might argue that poverty, lack of education, immigration policy, environmental conditions, fractured families, and a lack of good job opportunities are the real causes of human trafficking.

the action or practice of illegally transporting people from one country or area to another, typically for the purposes of forced labor or sexual exploitation.

Human trafficking is a global phenomenon. It greatly affects the country in a state of political and economic transition or post-conflict stress, which basically is the country of origin for criminal proceedings universal human trafficking. This phenomenon also affects both the economically more developed countries of destination and countries of transit.

  87. Human trafficking is different from the smuggling of people which is voluntary and resorted to for purposes of migrating to another country to seek a better life. A fee is paid to the smuggler for his help and once the migrant reaches the destination, he is free to go where he wants. But in trafficking, the victim is enslaved and is denied his basic human rights. Sometimes tries people who are trying to enter other countries into may be picked up by traffickers and trapped into enslavement.

Trafficking is a quite lucrative Industry. In Russia, Eastern Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, and Colombia, trafficking is done by large criminal organizations. However, the majority of trafficking is done by networks of smaller groups, generally, trafficked people are from the most vulnerable groups like powerless minorities in a -region. They live in the poorer areas where few opportunities are available and they may be ethnic minorities, or runaways and refugees.

Women are very vulnerable to sex trafficking, Traffickers promise them good jobs and then force them into the sex trade. Every year, many Bangladeshi and Nepalese women are trafficked into India for this purpose. They may end up in the brothels of Kamathipura in Mumbai or Sonagachi in Kolkata. The most shocking fact is won that in many cases, relatives of the women including fathers, husbands, lovers, brothers, uncles or aunts collude with the traffickers.
Trafficking of children is a result of parents’ extreme poverty. Impoverished parents may sell children to pay off debts. Some of them are deceived into thinking that their children will get a better life. In West Africa, AIDS is one of the major causes for child trafficking as they have often lost one or both parents to the disease. Children have also been forced to be child soldiers in Africa. The adoption process also results in cases of trafficking of babies and children.

Men may also be trafficked, usually for unskilled work predominantly involving forced labor. Other forms of trafficking include forced marriage, and domestic servitude. A Philippine maid in the Middle East murdered her employer who had subjected her to terrible abuse. Many films have dealt with human trafficking.

  89. Indeed, it has a huge contribution to the improvement of our society. Nowadays, if not all, we could say, most, yes~ most citizens are known to be technologically advance and its correlation to media and information is the same. It also has its advantages; it makes individual's life easier, example to that is the 'UBER' where you can get a ride in minutes. The advancement of it is rapidly increasing the same to its negative effect to the society. What can you expect when we are also the one making it. Disadvantages on media is the result of too much advancement. We take advantage of it. We abuse it to the point it can't handle it. We exploit it and we are abuse by it. Even in media, we should know our place.
I do not own the following:
"Media is the most powerful sector of an economy. It is a tool to maintain a balanced society which is characterized by well informed people, effective democracy and social justice. ... Basically, the media performs three functions to inform, to influence and to entertain.
Media of today is playing an outstanding role in creating and shaping of public opinion and strengthening of society. Media is the sword arm of democracy. Media acts as watchdog to protect public interest against malpractice and create public awareness.
The press, the radio and television play a big role in the life of the society. They inform, educate and entertain people. They also influence the way people look at the world and make them change theirviews. Mass media plays a very important role in organizing public opinion."

"Phishing is a cybercrime in which a target or targets are contacted by email, telephone or text message by someone posing as a legitimate institution to lure individuals into providing sensitive data such as personally identifiable information, banking and credit card details, and passwords."
"Human trafficking involves recruitment, harbouring or transporting people into a situation of exploitation through the use of violence, deception or coercion and forced to work against their will.
In other words, trafficking is a process of enslaving people, coercing them into a situation with no way out, and exploiting them.
People can be trafficked for many different forms of exploitation such as forced prostitution, forced labour , forced begging,
forced criminality , domestic servitude, forced marriage , and forced organ removal."
"Citizen journalism refers to any type of news gathering and reporting -- writing and publishing articles about a newsworthy topic, or posting photographs or video of a newsworthy event -- that is done by members of the general public rather than the professional news agencies commonly referred to as "mainstream media"."
"Internet marketing in the tourism industry can help you connect with your clients, show them the visual appeal of your destination, and possibly get more exposure than you would with traditional print advertising. 90. Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights. Every year, thousands of men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their own countries and abroad.
Human trafficking involves recruitment, harbouring or transporting people into a situation of exploitation through the use of violence, deception or coercion and forced to work against their will.

In other words, trafficking is a process of enslaving people, coercing them into a situation with no way out, and exploiting them.

People can be trafficked for many different forms of exploitation such as forced prostitution, forced labor, forced begging, forced criminality, domestic servitude, forced marriage, and forced organ removal.Contrary to a common misconception, people don’t necessarily have to be transported across borders for trafficking to take place.

But it’s too late, their documents are often taken away and they are forced to work until their debt is paid off.eople often confuse human trafficking and people smuggling. People smuggling is the illegal movement of people across international borders for a fee. On arrival, the smuggled person is free.

Human trafficking is different. The trafficker is moving a person for exploitation. There is no need to cross an international border. Human trafficking occurs at a national level, or even within one community.Human trafficking is the business of stealing freedom for profit. In some cases, traffickers trick, defraud or physically force victims into providing commercial sex. In others, victims are lied to, assaulted, threatened or manipulated into working under inhumane, illegal or otherwise unacceptable conditions. It is a multi-billion dollar criminal industry that denies freedom to 24.9 million people around the world.

  93. Many criminals are currently focusing on retrieving private data; they do this by using deceptive techniques to carry out electronic fraud. [1] This is also called phishing. The Cambridge Dictionaries Online defines phishing as: an attempt to trick someone into giving information over the internet or by email that would allow someone else to take money from them , for example by taking money out of their bank account.
The ubiquity of the internet technology made phishing an easy crime to perform. Setting up a fake website does not require a lot of money and effort and existing technology allows phishers to make a real website with minimal costs and little time. Because most institutes are continuously working on increasing their online presence the economic value that phishers can obtain by compromising account information from online customers increased dramatically.
Despite the fact that phishing is easy to prevent there are still many people who become a victim of a phishing attack. Developing measures against phishing is a challenging problem because victims help criminals in giving away their data. Besides that users generally have a lack of attention to security. The phenomenon of phishing may be unknown. Users do not see privacy and security as their primary task. In general it is expected that organizations take this responsibility. This is a false assumption. All banks indicate that phishing protection is a shared responsibility of banks and customers.

  95. that's why the counts of phishers now a days are on the roof because its an easy money there are lots of people who trust easily if they hear some flowering words coming from phishers like if they do give their bank accounts etc.. they will profit for it big time and from knowing us filipinos we want our money to grow fast that's why we take a risk of trusting a complete stranger saying tons of good things that might happened if we do trust their words. But because of our stupidity or shall i say easy believing attitude instead of profiting we suffer the biggest consequence losing something that we already have in an instant that's why never trust someone you don't know personally or someone who don't or cant show you some important papers saying that what are they saying is legit now a days you must be wise in everything you do because one wrong move you can lose everything in an instant

  96. Opportunities and Challenges in Meria and Information

The first part is the Human Trafficking as of defined on the post.
Human trafficking nowadays are said one of the lethal factors where in people are abused mentally and physically. Showing threats to intellectual properties. Scamming is primarily, example of scamming are fake working-abroad agencies where in they promise people of a desired salary and uses them to work abroad without the custody's permission and also known as illegally recruited. Where in victims are involves in high-risk of work or death if the recruitment is successful. Social media has thousands of access through illegal recruiters so as illegal stablishment offices. The victims primarily are children and women, where in pornography come to crime, as a fun entertainment for foreigners and as known as "The New Drug".

Phishing is reflected for hacking credit card debits, accounts and monetary related online accounts. It is exploiting the victims to release amount of money in exchange of a different higher monetary interest that sooner became money scams. The suspects are not traceable since their accounts are dummy accounts and their personal information are hidden. Therefore, as Media and Information literates, we should learn that knowing the transaction and the transactor first before dealing anything else. Knowing it is either legit or not, Local government online related agencies helps us find out legitimate transactions and illegal transactions.

Internet Marketing in the tourism industry...
Some of the things we used and trending are surely purchased from a certain interest and invest a high amount of money just to have it. Online marketing is one of the most famous marketing strategy we know these days wherein you can purchase online as a, "Cash on delivery policy". But basing experiences throughout news and social media, many victims are mostly are unaware of the policy and how the transaction works. Therefore, people should be aware of the policies that are in the transactions. One of the most important we should learn is to read their terms and policies in order to know how the transactions works and how not to waste money on a certain product we desired.

Citizen Journalism, is the primary source of falcificated information or fake news. We should be aware that fake news, before we believe it we should first take a research, before reacting on it throughout social media to prevent spreading it and prevent it to be as a scandal to a certain victim of falcified information. As a user we should be guided, if the source is legit or not. Gossips and Issues are not a joke, and could cause serious depression that might lead to suicide or a crime on the victim's side. Providing analysis or factual articles might help, also as the media.

These are the things we should learn before accessing the internet for informations and transactions. Let there be a lesson for us to learn from Media and Information Literacy.

Criminalization Of Human Trafficking The definition contained in article 3 of the Trafficking in Persons Protocol is meant to provide consistency and consensus around the world on the phenomenon of trafficking in persons.

  100. Taking part in the information society is essential for citizens of all age groups. The Internet provides great opportunities to improve life for all users. It has positive effects on education, the working world and economic growth. With easy digitalization and storage of information, and accessibility through a wide range of devices, the Internet has enormously increased the information resources available to people.

The best way to help them stay out of harm’s way is to empower and educate them on how to avoid or manage risks related to Internet use. Technologies can play a useful and supportive role in this area, especially where children and young people are concerned.

  101. The concept of citizen journalism (also known as "public", "participatory", "democratic",[1] "guerrilla"[2] or "street" journalism[3]) is based upon public citizens "playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing, and disseminating news and information."[4] Similarly, Courtney C. Radsch defines citizen journalism "as an alternative and activist form of news gathering and reporting that functions outside mainstream media institutions, often as a response to shortcomings in the professional journalistic field, that uses similar journalistic practices but is driven by different objectives and ideals and relies on alternative sources of legitimacy than traditional or mainstream journalism".[5] Jay Rosen proposes a simpler definition: "When the people formerly known as the audience employ the press tools they have in their possession to inform one another."[6] Citizen journalism should not be confused with Community journalism or Civic journalism, both of which are practiced by professional journalists; Collaborative journalism which is the practice of professional and non-professional journalists working together;[7] and Social journalism that denotes a digital publication with a hybrid of professional and non-professional journalism.
Citizen journalism is a specific form of both citizen media and user-generated content. By juxtaposing the term "citizen", with its attendant qualities of civic-mindedness and social responsibility, with that of "journalism", which refers to a particular profession, Courtney C. Radsch argues that this term best describes this particular form of online and digital journalism conducted by amateurs, because it underscores the link between the practice of journalism and its relation to the political and public sphere.[8]

New media technology, such as social networking and media-sharing websites, in addition to the increasing prevalence of cellular telephones, have made citizen journalism more accessible to people worldwide. Recent advances in new media have started to have a profound political impact.[9] Due to the availability of technology, citizens often can report breaking news more quickly than traditional media reporters. Notable examples of citizen journalism reporting from major world events are, the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the Arab Spring, the Occupy Wall Street movement, the 2013 protests in Turkey, the Euromaidan events in Ukraine, and Syrian Civil War and the 2014 Ferguson unrest.

  102. Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others.[1][2] This may encompass providing a spouse in the context of forced marriage,[3][4][5] or the extraction of organs or tissues,[6][7] including for surrogacy and ova removal.[8] Human trafficking can occur within a country or trans-nationally. Human trafficking is a crime against the person because of the violation of the victim's rights of movement through coercion and because of their commercial exploitation.[9] Human trafficking is the trade in people, especially women and children, and does not necessarily involve the movement of the person from one place to another.[citation needed]
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), forced labour alone (one component of human trafficking) generates an estimated $150 billion in profits per annum as of 2014.[10] In 2012, the ILO estimated that 21 million victims are trapped in modern-day slavery. Of these, 14.2 million (68%) were exploited for labour, 4.5 million (22%) were sexually exploited, and 2.2 million (10%) were exploited in state-imposed forced labour.[11] The International Labour Organization has reported that child workers, minorities, and irregular migrants are at considerable risk of more extreme forms of exploitation.
The Trafficking Protocol, which had 117 signatories and as of November, 2018 173 parties,
Human trafficking differs from people smuggling, which involves a person voluntarily requesting or hiring another individual to covertly transport them across an international border, usually because the smuggled person would be denied entry into a country by legal channels. Though illegal, there may be no deception or coercion involved. After entry into the country and arrival at their ultimate destination, the smuggled person is usually free to find their own way. According to the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), people smuggling is a violation of national immigration laws of the destination country, and does not require violations of the rights of the smuggled person.
